This waterfront 4 BR, 2 1/2 BA Private house in the town of Rock Hall has been recently renovated. Its newest addition is an outdoor Hot Tub, perfect for a weekend getaway or week long vacation. Enjoy watching the sailboats going by while enjoying a relaxing evening. Fun in all seasons. Or in the summer months take a dip in the pool. Decking and railings have been remodeled to give an expansive view of the water. It has 300' pier with 4' MWD in Swan Creek, a private pool and the best sunsets to enjoy on the deck or with cocktails relaxing under the shade trees. Kayaks, bikes and more are provided for your entertainment. Walk or bike to town and enjoy restaurants and shops. A great property for a family vacation off the Chesapeake Bay.

The space
“On the Rocks” is a waterfront property with 300’ pier on Swan Creek with 4-5’ MLW. Located in the heart of Rock Hall. Bike, walk, or drive to restaurants and shops in the Waterfront town of Rock Hall. The above ground 4' deep pool is great for the kids, or "big kids" to enjoy. Lots of yard space to play games such as corn hole or just relax in a lounge chair. Enjoy fabulous sunsets from the house or sitting in an Adirondack chair on the pier. You're welcome to tie your boat up at the dock and it can be launched easily at a nearby public landing or you may arrive by boat. Fishing and crabbing can be done from the dock, or venture out in a Kayak and explore Swan Creek or Tavern Creek. Recently added electric fireplaces in living room and master BR.
One well behaved dog is welcome with a $125 pet fee, please ask.

4 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths + an outside shower. Central a/c. Pool on site along with use of 300’ pier. Hot Tub, Kayaks, bikes, and other outdoor items for your use.

Swann Creek rental

The house was as listed, kitchen had everything except a blender. The sliding door to deck was a heavy beast to open, 2 hands and pull hard, we contacted owner, they came and applied silicone spray which did not help, the children could not open at all, this made it less desirable for sure. If this issue could be fixed, awesome! The garage had lots of outdoor activities-canoe, kayak, fishing supplies, paddleboard, bikes. It was perfect except for the door.

A great place to get the family together

Our family had a great stay at On the Rocks! My adult children and their significant others loved the large yard for playing games, the pool for cooling off, and kayaks and paddle board for relaxing in the water. The garage was well stocked with games, floats, pumps, etc. We brought a few of our own bikes, but we also used a few of the many bikes in the garage. My husband loved grilling for the family. There was plenty of propane. The grill needed to be cleaned inside, but it didn't take long to do. The kitchen was well stocked. There were also more towels than we could ever use. We did bring our own pool towels. The kids all were comfortable in their beds, but my husband I struggled in the master bed. The room is beautiful, but the mattress was creaky and uncomfortable. Our only other issue was the sliding doors. While they offered an absolutely amazing view, they were SO hard to open and close. Even the big, strong men in our family struggles. Overall, the property offered so many amenities in such a beautiful setting, that we all were able to relax and have a great time!

Great property for relaxing vacation

On The Rocks is a very accommodating rental! The pool and hot tub were relaxing, use of kayaks and paddle board was amazing, and the pier was huge. The back yard was perfect for our family wiffle ball game. Hammocks were very comfy. Inside, the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and everything was clean. We will be back!

Relaxing getaway

Our stay at On The Rocks was amazing! The house was exactly as described and suited our needs perfectly. The view from anywhere inside and outside of the house was awesome. Though, as retirees, we didn’t take full advantage of all of the amenities, the pool and hot tub were very refreshing and we enjoyed some friendly though competitive corn hole games as well. The fish were jumping near the private pier and biting during our chartered fishing excursion with Captain Chuck from Bayside Girls Charter. We enjoyed several excellent meals at surrounding restaurants especially Harbor Shack (twice!). And Diane, our host, was very responsive to all of our communications and kept the entire process stress-free! My only negative (personal) experience was that the lovely king sized bed was a bit soft for my liking but the rest of the amenities certainly made up for it! Thank you, again, for sharing this wonderful home with us. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Amazing getaway with family

We had an awesome time at the property. The pool and jacuzzi are great for the family to play together. The house has board games and toys for the little ones, plus bikes to explore the little town. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely perfect!

Our stay was incredible! The house is beautiful, it is super spacious with tons of perfect places to congregate and hang out. The rooms were all extremely comfortable and the beds had high quality mattresses that made sleeping so enjoyable. The views and sunsets were spectacular and our group loved spending our evenings enjoying the hot tub. The house’s location is perfect as it is not only right on the water but it’s just under one mile from the (albeit super tiny) town of Rock Hall. I’d love to come back here in the future as this was such an awesome place to stay! Also it comes stocked with amenities that you might need such as towels and tons of baked games and puzzles!

On the Rocks

Stayed at On the Rocks for 5 days. A great location on the water with a nice long pier for crabbing, fishing, and watching the boats go by. The kayaks were great. The extended house was clean and up to date regarding plumbing and fixtures. The pool was a little to cool but the hot tub was great. We had a great experience.

Rock Hall with Beautiful Views

Second year staying in On the Rocks! The family had a great time again. Easy walks in the morning for coffee at Java Rock. Great seafood at plenty of restaurants. We all enjoyed the pool, kayaking and bike rides but the best part is the views and sunsets. We also enjoyed the fire pit each night after the kids went to bed. Great family vacation spot.

Perfect Rock Hall Getaway

We've been visiting Rock Hall for years. This house is our favorite. It's got everything you need to have the perfect eastern shore experience... Bikes, kayaks, fishing gear. We visited in July when the temps were in the 90's so the pool was key! We would definitely come back.
