Future guests should clarify any questions about the furniture pictured, as couch and chairs were missing.Upon arrival, we found the arcade game broken, and the hot tub produced excessive bubbles when the jets were activated, preventing us from using it as intended. While the house cleaner responded promptly and kindly tried to resolve the issue, the hot tub’s lack of cover, combined with a rainy weekend, further limited our use.The property itself is set in a beautiful location, but we noticed trash in the paddle boat and clothing items, as well as bobbers, scattered around the ponds. A bit more thorough cleanup between guests would have been appreciated.Although WiFi is advertised as free, access required submitting personal information, which we found unusual.Several lights were out, particularly those on the back porch near the hot tub. Additionally, we saw a cockroach in the downstairs bathroom on our last day. We provided photos, recommended hiring an exterminator, and suggested adding bathroom ventilation to help control moisture.We paid a significant amount to rent this facility for my husband’s birthday with our family, so it was disappointing to encounter these issues. The host acknowledged our concerns, stated he would relay them to the team, and expressed appreciation for our concern for future guests, though no refund was offered of any amount. We believe someone should have checked the property’s condition and cleanliness prior to our four day stay.
