"We had a wonderful honeymoon spent in the Hitchin post. Really cosy stay, was lovely to have the fireplace to us in the evening. The hot tub was a great addition, especially with such a beautiful view looking over the lake and field of horses. Spent several afternoons soaking in it with a glass of wine. Was a great location, nice and remote for a romantic getaway. And close enough to town which has several places to eat and shop. The host was really friendly and just a phone call away if we had any queries "

"Pictures show great however, Floors were swept but filthy dirty as they turned white socks black very quickly. Portable air conditioning unit for 9000sq ft does absolutely no good. Ad says AC Ad states playground, which there is no playground at this location. Many things in the house were broken -theatre seating, only 2 out of the 4 seats reclined, complete faucet on small sink in kitchen was not attached. Shelf downstairs and pool cue rack falling off the wall This property has seen a fair bit of abuse and very little to no maintenance."
