About this property
Le Cladéou Pleine Nature
Hello, I am Alain Stéfanello, owner of the cottage. Welcome to Le Plançon, a small old hamlet built entirely of local stones on the banks of the river. My cottage has been open since Saturday, June 27, 2026, which is why there are no customer reviews. The Cladéou cottage for 2 people, between the old chestnut dryer transformed into a bike room and my house, when I restored it 24 years ago I kept the 4 stone walls, everything else was new. 1 detail that is not mentioned in the description, the bed is 160X200. In the cottage, in hot weather, there is 1 air conditioning and in cold weather, there are 3 radiators connected to the wood central heating of my house and 1 closed fireplace for fun and roasting chestnuts in the fall. Passionate about animals, I have 3 ewes, 1 ram, 2 lambs and 1 mule who help me maintain the property, a few chickens, geese, and ducks who live in a fenced park of nearly 1000 m2 because of foxes. The hamlet surrounded by meadows of chestnut and holm oak forests overlooks a river that flows all year round with waterfall at the entrance to the hamlet, 1 above ground swimming pool of 7.32m X 3.66 m h 1.32 m, but also several natural pools in the river for fishing enthusiasts there are brown trout. There is no culture for more than a km around so many birds very pleasant to hear in spring. Few mosquitoes because frogs and countless dragonflies take care of them with the help of swallows. The hamlet is served by a tarmac road to the houses and followed by an unpaved track, little car traffic. Several hiking trails on site, I have detailed maps. We are lucky to have 1 grocery store of local products and organic products run by the producers with bread and pastries made on site and cooked over a wood fire 3 km in the village of Rocles and 1 bakery in Joannas, bread and pastries made on site and also cooked over a wood fire. 1 small weekly market of local products on Saturday afternoons in Joannas with entertainment 3 km away only in July and August. 1 weekly market on Tuesdays 10 km in the medieval city of Largentière, many shops, bars, tobacconists, restaurants, bakery, pharmacy, 1 Carrefour contact with fuel pumps 24 hours a day, 1 health centre, 1 Tourist Office.....
