"Staff very helpful with a post-midnight check in after a work dinner and drinks. Had a problem with a double payment taken from my account for the stay but it was dealt with and resolved by their team very quickly and efficiently by phone a couple of days afterwards. Room and hotel common areas were nicely appointed, clean and facilities were good. I missed out on breakfast but it looked good."

"There was plenty of food to choose from. The cooked food was cooked well and of good quality. Only criticisms is that for me there could have been a wider choice of fruit and that finding room to sit at breakfast was quite difficult, despite the efforts of the staff to prepare tables as soon as they were vacated."

"Great value and location. On-site parking a bonus, and one of the reasons we booked, with the cost of £17 a night being one of the cheapest in the area. We stayed here a number of years ago where the hotel appeared a little 'tired' and in need of an update... Which i'm please to say it has, definitely a glow-up compared to previous, looking much more expensive than the price tag suggested"
