"A lovely hotel. The room was excellent and the on-site restaurant (not owned by the hotel) was equally excellent. I would have given it 5 stars but for the fact it was difficult to find anywhere to hand up our clothes after a very wet journey, there wasn't a grab handle in the shower (which I need) and as the hotel is encased in a large church and there was no external branding, we couldn't find it though it was right under our noses!"

"Eine tolle und ungewöhnliche Unterkunft (ehemalige Kapelle) im rückwärtigen Areal eines Herrenhauses.Zentral und dennoch ruhig gelegen. Ausstattung und Mobiliar waren hochwertig.Ein gelungener Mix aus Antiquitäten und Moderne.Die Matratzen waren hervorragend und ließen wunderbar schlafen.Kommunikation mit Sophia zum Check-In lief unkompliziert und sie hat uns überaus empfangen und durch die Unterkunft geführt. Einige Tipps für unsere Aktivitäten und Restaurants hat sie uns auch gegeben.Auch Check-Out lief unkompliziert. Wir empfehlen diese tolle Unterkunft ausdrücklich."

"We stayed in the property as a family of four. It was lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are shops nearby and it’s a very easy access to Amsterdam, and Hoorn itself is a lovely town. The host was welcoming and helpful."
