The website announces that bedding is provided, but then the owner writes to you to ask for €10 per person for sheets and towels. On arrival, you are told to use a screwdriver to clean the shower drains of hair before you leave. Then on departure, with minutes to spare, you are told to clean the whole place yourself or pay another €50. It’s not unusual to ask for a cleaning fee, but...

"Gorgeous, bijou stone cottage full of charm within walking distance of Uzès. Outside sitting areas in a beautiful garden and shared use of pool with main, larger rental property. We were lucky that no one was renting the larger property during most of our stay but be aware that it's very close to it and no physical division so wouldn't be very private when otbers are there. "Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber, gut ausgestattet, sehr nette Vermieter und eine TOLLE Lage. Sie liegt in einem ruhigen Dorf, oben am Hang, mit einem schönen Blick ins Tal, im Hintergrund sieht man Uzes. Sie liegt zentral zwischen vielen großen Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Pont du Gard, Avignon und Nimes, alle unter einer Stunde Fahrtzeit erreichbar.
