"Beautiful place and location. "

"Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. Barthroom had a vague smell of sewerage- not really strong, but enough for me to question the high price of the accomodation. Needs to spend a lot more on plumbing and heating, or...

"We had a great time. Perfect location for day trips into Caldas da Rainha and Nazare. After buzzing about the area it was nice to return to a quiet spot overlooking the ocean. Good restaurants 5 minutes away."

"Very nice house with large comfortable rooms. The pool is great with a huge green lawn arround it. The fact that the owners live underneath is no problem at all - one is completly seperated with no interference at all. Great barbecue- very nice evenings on the balcony. "We were very happy here. The house is great as per the posting. However we were also very impressed with the beach and town. Lots of wonderful restaurants and not too busy. Close enough to various other interesting places for day trips. Carlos was very nice. Definitely recommend. "

"I have to praise the owner of the house for his kindness and reactivity. The house is very big (much more than the pictures sugggest). That was a very nice surprise for us. The house is very well equipped, all you need for a stay is there. The view in the ocean is nice, the yard is very pleasant, and the trampoline was a great plus for my kids. The location is perfect: 55 mn to lisboa, 45 mn to Nazaré, 10 mn to a free parking beach, 10 mn to supermarkets where you can find all you need. I...

"Lovely house, lagoon area has breeze even at height of summer in August. Good base, Obidos, 20 mins away, is a medieval town with very impressive castle. Beautiful buildings with local artists selling paintings and prints, plenty of good restaurants. Lisbon is an hour away. A car is essential to get around, as the house is situated up a forested hill above lagoon. Excellent walks and runs around the lagoon, which is only 15 mins away by foot. Lots of activities available, we opted for kayaks...

The property itself is beautiful with plenty of space for four adults to share without running into each other. Definitely will be back."
