"Breakfast is cold and mostly white carbs. I really don’t expect much from any “free’ hotel breakfast. Hotel was quiet and very clean. Room was comfortable and well -appointed. My only suggestion would be to add a safety rod/railing in the walk-in shower. Staff were friendly and quickly responded to requests. I highly recommend this lodge,and would gladly stay there again. "

"We had an amazing visit here. The close proximity to Young Harris College was a great benefit for us—you are less than a mile and half from campus just up from Cupid Falls. The cabin was well appointed and exceptionally clean. It also had lots of different spaces inside and outside for different family activities or just relaxing. We will definitely stay again when in the area."

"We were going to be in the area for the day & thought we would just stay overnight & have a mini weekend get away with our 3 kids ( 1 of which is an infant & learning to crawl) It was a late booking & only for a night. There were no check in instructions, host didn’t answer the messages or phone calls. Had to call VRBO to have them reach out to the host to provide check in info. Online it looked cozy. Nothing extravagant but something for a night in the mountains for our family. When we got checked in the place was FILTHY! Stains on the couch, the carpet, the wood flooring. The wood flooring has serious subfloor issues that truly need to be looked at as it seems unsafe for guests. There was hair in the bathroom, pubic hair in the sheets, taped notebook paper on the inside of the sheets & not all the lights were working. No TVs in the bedrooms.. and the yard had a huge tree that was down. I’m thankful VRBO approved our refund because we decided to just make the 3 hour trip back home that evening instead of staying. Would not recommend this listing for anyone & honestly think VRBO should remove it from their site entirely. #slumlord "

"As advertised ! There were three of us plus three small dogs. We really enjoyed the week we spent there in late March. The cool nights with the sound of the creek trickling over the rocks, made sleeping on the screened porch a temptation. The steep slope directly beyond the creek creates a real sense of privacy and seclusion. The only thing I would prefer is a larger TV with surround sound. I’m sure for most that’s not what you would be there for. 5 Stars all around either way "
