"This is a property I want to come back to. How could two weeks go by so fast! I loved the yard. The trees, the swings, and the bubbling creek made it special. The kitchen was well supplied with all you need. There were a few basic supplies left in the cupboards which was convenient. The bed was comfortable if a little high for someone on the shorter side. We brought a stool for a just in case, and it was used. The shower was a step in of about 8 inches which was much better than trying to get in a tub. The shower wand was perfect for the short me again, because the person who put in the shower head must have been over 6 feet. The flowers were blooming when we were there and we appreciated them around. Next year might use a new grill and the a layer of support on the sofa. There were a couple of recliners in the living room which I liked as I use one at home and depend on it. We never used the hot tub so can't say anything about it."

"It feels like home because you are in someone’s home. There’s a separate entrance around the back and you are apart from the host. There’s a beautiful backyard with a fire pit. The host thought of all the little things you might need. There was even some food on the counter and in the refrigerator for breakfast and snacks."

"We have stayed at many cabins in the mountains of NC and GA and this was the best yet. The cabin was clean, easy to access, and everything worked as expected. The sunrise view fromThe upstairs bedroom is wonderful. We will most definitely stay there again. 5 stars across the board."

"My wife and I enjoyed sitting on the deck, looking at the mountains, listening to the babbling brook flowing by the property. The location is very quiet, with hardly any traffic on the mostly private road alongside the property. The lodging itself is comfortable and well stocked. It is showing some wear and tear and could use some maintenance attention; for example, the screen on the doors have tears in them that do not keep flying bugs out. Also, we could not identify how to turn down the volume on the TV in the main room. It is set a little high in volume. But overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. While feeling somewhat remote, we were only 10 minutes from Young Harris and 15 from either Blairsville or Hiawassee, all of which had local stores, pharmacies, medical facilities, and restaurants. There are also recreational activity options, though we were not looking for that, but rather for relaxation and peace and a break from our daily routine."

"Nicely appointed. Nice amenities. Spaceous. Wrap around porch partially screened for bug-free relaxing. Hot tub is a plus. The only problem we had, and it is a minor one, was that the security alarm kept going off but since it isn't monitored, it was just a matter of resetting it. We suspect the batteries needed changing."

"Enjoyed staying at the cabin. The Shining Light Baptist Church is about 5 miles away and possibly one of the 5 best preachers I have heard while traveling. Staying beside Bitter Creek, we had to watch the movie with Lindsey Wagner "Nightmare at Bitter Creek". (it's on YouTube.) I would have liked to put my chair in the creek and soak my feet for a few hours, but there is no handrail going down to the water, which would have made the stay more enjoyable. While the wrap around sofa on the deck looks nice, it is not comfortable."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fabulous weekend away! The cabin was clean, private and relaxing. The babbling creek was so peaceful! The VRBO host was very easy to reach and responded quickly."
