"We ended up booking this place to stay for the weekend but we didn't even check-in in the apartment. The street getting to this place is very rural and tight with no lights and we quickly realized that it would have been impossible for us to drive in and out of it easily at night. "The Lodge is located very near the fairgrounds and very close to the restaurant mentioned in the description of the Lodge. We parked our car and did not use it until we left. The Lodge has a beautiful setting to sit and watch the variety of boats and water "toys" I on the lake. Be prepared to find a breakfast place; the "free" breakfast has good coffee. If we come to another event at the fairgrounds we will book at the lodge."
