Really enjoyed our stay at Laocoonte. The room was very tidy and clean and we were served delicious and extensive breakfasts every morning. The hosts were really nice as well :) Accomodation is easily accessible by metro/bus, and Vatican City is a short walk away!

Excellent stay! :) The location couldn't be better—less than a 5-minute walk to the Vatican Museums, which made exploring the area so convenient. The hostess was very kind and supportive, always ready to help with any questions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome!

Amenities are good, and the staff is friendly. There are daily refills of bottled water, tea, and coffee. What a nice experience! It's just one minute from the Vatican tour meeting place.

It’s very closed to Vatican museum and St Peter Basilica. There are many recommendations for local foods. Staff is very responsive and helpful. One tip: the city fee will be collected by cash. They should mention it in advance.

The area is very convenient to walk near by the attraction. The problem is the shower was so tiny. Just wondering how the big people can fit to shower. The staff is good but the guy never offer to help us to carry our luggage. Breakfast is fine

The B&B is hard to find because there is no sign of it visible in the street (Via Caracciola). Corridor and staircase are very tight. The room itself was ok and so was the breakfast.

Die Lage ist der grosse Pluspunkt

Das B&B Laocoonte beschticht durch seine Nähe zum Eingang zum vatikanischen Museum (ca. 6 Minuten zu Fuss) und zum Petersplatz (15 Minuten) sowie zur Metrostation "Cipro" (ca. 8 Minuten). Diese fährt ohne umzusteigen ins Zentrum von Rom und zur Termini Bahnstation. Das B&B ist kein Hotel oder Pension. Eigentlich ist es ein AirB+B. Es hat dort einige Zimmer in einer Wohnung im ersten Stock und man bekommt mehrere Schlüssel um ins Zimmer zu gelangen. Im selben Gebäudekomplex gibt es offenbar weitere AirB+B anbieter. Es gibt keine Reception, kein ständig anwesendes Personal und keine Gemeinschaftsräume. Wenn man ankommt schreibt man dem Vermieter eine Nachricht oder ruft ihn an. Er kommt dann innert ein paar Minuten. Das Frühstück bekommt man in einem Restaurant rund 4 Minuten zu Fuss vom Haus. Das Frühstück ist klein aber fein. Es gibt kein Buffett. Ein kleines Glas frisch gepresster Saft, ein hervorragender Kaffee (der Capuccino ist zu empfehlen) und ein wunderbares italienisches Sandwich. Dieses ist nicht mit den gängigen Sandwich in Nordeuropa oder Nordamerika vergleichbar. Wer mit einem Zimmer zufriden ist, um am frühen Morgen ins vatikanische Museum oder zur Genaralaudienz des Papstes auf den Petersplatz zu gehen und einen kurzen Weg gehen will, dem ist diese Unterkunft zu empfehlen. Die Beschreibung des Zimmers ist korrekt allerdings vermisse ich die Matraze nicht.

I do not understand why this place does not have 5 stars. It was perfect for our 3 days in Rome, was close to everything and was a great retreat from the busy city while still being close to everything. Easy checkin, held our bags safely and were extra accommodating. Would stay here again every time we are back in Rome.

Just what we were looking for the trip We are out all day so we just need an accommodation that’s comfortable, nothing fancy and very close to the Vatican area especially the Museum which is a 5 minute walk. Very close also to bus routes and a 10 minute walk to the Cipro Metro subway station. Internet could be at times spotty, but overall the stay met our expectations.

Hôte très sympathique, chambre très agréable et nettoyée impeccablement chaque jour. L’emplacement est idéal : proche du vatican et de stations de métro sans toutefois être envahi par les touristes. Le prix est très correct pour une prestation de cette qualité. Les seuls bémols pouvant être soulevés sont le bruit pour le chambres donnant sur la rue et dans le couloir, mais peut être également la porte de la salle de bain/toilette, pas totalement opaque et sans rideau, ce qui peut parfois poser problème au niveau de l’intimité (peut-etre un défaut propre à notre chambre). Pour le reste c’est parfait et je le recommande fortement.
