Ideal location, tucked away by Piazza Barberini (with a Metro stop), and a very short walk to both the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain. Tastefully appointed rooms and breakfast area and very courteous staff. We stayed in the apartments, which are just two doors down from the main hotel, in a classy residential building with lift, and hotel staff are responsive and checked us in and out without issues. Enormous bathroom equipped with everything you would need.
Un service très accueillant. un petit déjeuner fructueux et délicieux, hôtel bien situé. seul bémol, chambre petite et pas de vue.
A recommander vivement
This was my first time to Rome and we went early for a cruise wee were taking. The staff was amazing and the rooms were great. We need to print out our ship boarding passes and we used there computer and they were so nice. Anything we need help with or answers too we got it. I just cant say enough on how friendly and helpful the staff was. And the room was clean fresh and so nice. At first I though that having to turn the room key in every time you leave would be a pain but I like the security of it and not having to worry about losing it so I ended up really likening their system. The breakfast staff was the same, just great and the food was outstanding. And the location was also outstanding, close to the train station and right across from the hop on hop off bus stop. There is always something you can find wrong with all hotels but not this time!! I have only praise and great things to say about this hotel and its staff.
My sense is that the hotel is reasonably well located. We walked, took bus and cabs.
The apartments are lovely..expect the hotel proper to be also . The apartments give a somewhat bohemian feel as one walks a few steps outside and then must enter through 3 doors all with different keys. There is a typical European lift if one wants the adventure or is too tired for the stairs.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful
Breakfast is very good. The wine bar was unfortunately deserted each time we used it so it felt a little strange. There is no food service other than the breakfast but countless restaurants with in walking distance
Fabulous hotel. We stayed in a roomy apartment next door for 4 nights and enjoyed all the services of a 5 Star hotel. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was very delicious with food choices to meet every dietary need. I look forward to a return stay.
AMAZING STAY AT BARROCO HOTEL, cant ask for more best staff they remember you by your name and are very helpful. Breakfast is AMAZING so much varity cant aks for more!!! Situated in the middle of rome so many thing to see and safe area also. My boyfriend and I had a blast , hotel was just greatt!
Great Room and Great Staff -- Close to everything!
The staff at Hotel Barocco were welcoming and helpful. Our room in the Barocco Apartments section was above and beyond what we were expecting. The king bed was super comfortable and we had double sinks in the bathroom with plenty of counter space. Breakfast each morning was great with a wide selection. Would definitely stay here again.
We stayed next door to the Barocco Hotel in the Barocco Apartments. We had to stop in the front desk to get our room keys every time we left/came back. I thought this was going to be a hassle, but everyone was very efficient and there was not a big distance between the two. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was gorgeous with an excellent bathroom. We loved everything about this hotel. The only thing that would make me question staying there again was the location. It felt like a very touristy area and on our next trip to Roma, we would like more of a neighborhood feel. The hotel was great though!
I loved how centrally located it is. It's right next to a metro station. The staff was extremely friendly, the wifi worked well and I loved the breakfast buffet in the morning. Will definitely come back!
