The location is great the room was ok but was very dusty not very clean
My family and I had a terrible experience. Bathroom and room are not properly maintained. There is mold in the bathroom and there were used towels in the closet and bathroom, we also found ants in the bathroom and toothpaste stains on the sink at check-in. The sink and tub did not drain, the water just collected. The cleaners leave at 1 pm, so any request after that gets dismissed until the day after. Our maintenance request did not get addressed until day 3 as we were about to check out. I am not sure if it did get resolved. We were very uncomfortable during our stay and I cannot recommend this place. Only good thing is the location.
I don't understand how Expedia lists this hotel as "recommended." The A/C didn't work, the sink was clogged, the pillows were flat and unsupported, the TV only had local channels with poor reception, and the breakfast consisted of cookies, bread, and cereal. A disgrace to Expedia.
We had a sewer gas smell in the bathroom. The walls had scuff marks all over them and the bed was broken. The location is nice but the condition of the hotel is not worthy of its review status.
Sconsigliato vivamente
I feel as if we should have received a refund for at least one night. Out of the four night stay, the power went out for an hour the second night, and we had no hot water for the rest of the stay. Offering a return for the portion of the trip that we could not shower would display a huge amount of trust to future clients.
I will say that the staff was very kind and helpful, but the owner needs to revisit this scenario and do what is right.
Great location! Just walking distance to St Peter Basilica and easy access to the ACAT public transit system. The rooms maintenance was poor. Our room fridge was not working and the shower drain was clogged. Every time we showered we had to do it in segments of turning on and off the shower to avoid water overflowing into the bathroom floor!
Bed not comfortable dust visible on the side table. Washroom is not cleaned every day. Water in the shower does not drain properly. You have to turn off the faucet to give time for the water to drain. Breakfast is disappointing. But thank you anyways.
For a 5 night reservation, they only cleaned the room once, changed the towels and took out the trash. If I hadn't asked them to clean, we would never have entered the room. Good hotels clean every day without a reminder.
Great location for the Vatican. Hotel was a bit dirty overall. The corners, baseboards etc had build up of dust/dirt. Linens were clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was limited but good enough to start the day.
TV did not work for 2 nights; A/c in the first room where we were put was not working; housekeeping was not stellar (beds were not made, the teaspoon that we used was not replaced with a clean one & was left on the table just as how we left it)
Room where we transferred to on our last night smelled moldy; Laura (hotel manager) was rude.
Within the Vatican district and walkable to the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Restaurants and a bunch of souvenirs shops are also close by. To get to the other monuments the Hop on Hop Off bus is a great option. No need to rent a car, there is absolutely no where to park.
We arrived to a dirty room and a strong odor coming from the bathroom that never left. With no resolution when brought up to mgmt. They had no interest in working with us to check out early or deal with any issues.
Also, If you're traveling before June and it's 80-90 degrees there is no air conditioning in their rooms.
Rome is beautiful, and the location is a good one, just don't expect too much as far as room and staff.
Breakfast is poor, nothing hot.
