Our rooms were located in the annex building. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. A concern was that while our room key was required to enter the annex building for security purposes, many times during day and every night, the door was left wide open. No person was at the small desk inside. Leaving a traveler feeling a vulnerable. The location was great to access many of the incredible sites in Rome!

Location is very centered from bus stops and shops but quiet at night. They have breakfast for a fee which we didn’t opt for since we went out every day, the rooms were clean, front desk staff was always helpful and kind, onsite bar is nice to use for when you just want a few drinks and night in. They have a small working elevator! The only thing I was missing was an iron for my clothing which I think you can ask for (I didn’t). My only actually complaint is that they seem to be renovating some rooms so 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed we were awoken by 8 am to the sounds of saws and hammering.

Location is amazing for sightseeing and shopping, if you’re so inclined, and the room was a great size with comfy beds. Great selection at breakfast but the only drawback would be no other food offerings in the hotel but again there are some great options nearby. There’s also no air con in the stairway so if you have to do the stairs in August be prepared to sweat a little…

Stayed in the hotel Annex which was quite a bit away from the main hotel which we had to check into, then trundle our cases along another few streets. I booked the standard room with a balcony. Well, it was the smallest room and balcony I’d ever stayed in. There was literally only 4 hangers on a rail to hang your clothes, no coat hooks anywhere or even a space to set your case/bags. Decor could have been better, had 3 empty picture frames on a blank wall?? Didn’t do breakfast but it smelled tempting and was available in Annex. Despite that tha location was great, very close to the Spanish steps and close to the Trevi Fountain. Rome City Taxi rank across road which we used for the airport, as it was a set fee of €55.

Location was a in a great. Very safe, walkable, near a lot of restaurants and shops. Walking distance to all the major sites. AC was very cold which was a blessing since we went in August. The lobby/ front desk was a few blocks away from the actual building where our rooms were. It is was in an older repurposed building which had a lot of charm. Not very sound proof, we could hear talking and people walking through the hallways coming in an out. However, nothing beats the location and AC, both a must if you are staying in Rome.

Positives: Great location, a few minutes walk from Spanish steps. Room was very clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was good with hot and cold options. Cafe next door lovely for an early morning coffee if you were up before breakfast like us! Negatives: we have a queen room which was in an alternative building. This was only around the corner but the building had a lift and the rooms, no other facilities or services. Breakfast and bar at main hotel. We paid to upgrade our room to one with a terrace which was nice. The room itself was tiny. Whilst this wasn’t a problem in itself there was nowhere to store our clothes other than a small wardrobe. No drawers. Also no sockets next to bed which was a bit of a problem due to medical equipment needed in the night.
