Hotel close to The Vatican within 15 mins walk and the San Paulo train station within 5 mins walk. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Safe and quiet location away from the hustle and bustle.

A very nice stay in Alessandrino. The staff is supernice and helpfull. Loved our room with a terrasse. Rooftop terrasse is also great with the view. Nice room and big bathroom . Short walk to resturants, shops , the Vatican, Trastevere. Even walking distanse to Trevi fountain and Spanish stairs. This was all perfect stay.

We loved the property and our room. The room had a heating system but no AC, but given the time of the year it was perfect. We had the windows open most of the night to let the room cool down. The hotel had an easy walk to the bus stop and train. The staff was nice and friendly. Would def stay there again.

good location, nice hotel but need improvement

The hotel has good location, near vatican. However, it’s up to the hill. If they can keep all in good condition such as replace shower head, working hairdryer, good draining system for shower and sink, that will be nicer. If the hotel can provide the kettle in the room, that will be much better.

Zero customer care or service Very outdated hotel Shower was horrendous, small, broken, too low wouldn't stay in a position to actually shower, a random switch above the shower which apparently was an alarm? Maids didn't actually clean the room other than replace the towels and make the bed No info about any breakfast or drinks Bed was comfy which was the best thing Nice terrace but run by mosquitos Randomly have to key your key in every time you leave the hotel

Good stay close to the Vatican

Was comfortable. AC works great, much needed in July when we visited. The area up on the hill was somewhat remote. There weren't alot of restaurants in the area. There is a small conveniece store a few blocks down the hill, so if you need anything. There was no parking at the hotel, unless you have a motorcycle. The street was jambed full with cars and we had to take our chances parking in front of a gate that belonged to the city and looked like it wasn't being used. But to be fair, we experienced similar parking conditions in other urban areas in Italy. Otherwise the hotel was good, with an attendant at the front desk. We stayed 2 nights and they replenished our towels as we asked.

We have had a pleasant stay at hotel Alessandrino. It was nicely priced for a hotel in Rome. The room was clean, which is for us one of the most important things. The hotel staff was nice, relaxted and helpfull. Our room was small but it was ok for city trip. Bathroom could use a upgrade, rainshower was not ok anymore, but normal showerhead worked fine. Downside of our room was mainly the noice from washing machines, cleaning and reception at all possible hours. The wall do not isolate any sound. Location wise it is not typically in the most exiting area. It is great for going to the vatican, but little bit more far to other large attractions. It is walkable to center but expect times of 45minutes. Otherwise take a bus (8min walk) or other means of transport. I think for what you pay you get a fair room.

Convenient and Quiet

The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to our family. The hotel is located in a neighborhood that is centrally located to the Vatican. We especially enjoyed the terraces overlooking the city of Rome.
