Small place, very clean, quiet, and affordable. Also very convenient to all of Rome - right on the metro line - without being in a touristy area. Proprietors kind and helpful. Only down side is hard bed and pillows. Also, there is an elevator, but you will still need to carry bags up and down a few steps. Would stay again.

The hotel was very clean and Sandra was super helpful with directions and even our bags (we had too many). The area had many places to eat and was safe to walk about at night. It was well located with only a couple of stops till the main subway terminus. We only had 2 days there before our cruise so we may be back everything permitting.

Sandra -owner- was amazingly pleasant and hospitable. She helped us navigate the city, shared her coffee amd let us pick which room we liked better. Very clean and well kept hotel on the 2nd story of a nice building right off the metro

Mi sono trovata in un ambiente accogliente e signorile, sono stata accolta con la massima cordialità e disponibilità per tutto ciò che mi serviva. La camera assolutamente perfetta, pulita e con tutti i comfort, dalla cassaforte al frigobar, il bagno ben attrezzato con una piacevole doccia. Al mattino bevendo il mio caffè ho potuto fare due chiacchiere con la signora ed è stato un piacere soprattutto per me un po’ spaesata perché era la prima volta che mi trovavo in quel quartiere di Roma . Lo consiglio a tutti.

Wonderful!

Very nice staff and location. I highly recommend staying here to get away from the crazy tourist areas. Lots of great food around the neighborhood and all the tourist sites were reachable by the metro.

ローマの中でも比較的治安が良い場所で、なおかつ近くに大きなスーパーマーケットやショッピングモールがあり便利です。従業員の方が本当に親切で、朝食を付けてなかったのですが、コーヒーとパンを毎朝出してくれました。また滞在したいホテルです！

Comodo albergo in posizione strategica.

Ho soggiornato presso l'Hotel Appia 442 la terza settimana di Ottobre 2016. Viaggio di lavoro. Hotel ideale per le mie esigenze. Accesso alla metropolitana A comodissimo (l'hotel si trova proprio nel palazzo sopra la stazione di Furio Camillo), il centro di Roma a non piu' di 15 minuti. L'hotel e' piccolo, 5/6 camere ricavate da un appartamento di un antico palazzo romano, estremamente pulito e ben ristrutturato. L'accesso WiFi funziona bene. La signora Sandra, la titolare, si distingue per la cortesia e l'efficienza. Nelle vicinanze trattorie e pizzerie per ogni esigenza, un centro commerciale moderno ed un supermercato entrambi ben forniti.

Da Hotel befindet sich in guter Lage. Direkt an einer Metro Station von der man Problemlos innerhalb 10 min am Termini ist. Das Hotel ist klein ( mit 10 Zimmern insgesamt) ebenso wie die Zimmer. Jedoch hat man alles was man brauch. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und neu eingerichtet. Das Zimmer war absolut sauber undicht habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Gastgeberin Sandra ist sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur empfehlen für einen Stadttrip in Rom. Man fühlt sich sehr aufgehoben dort.

Welcoming hotel

We have just spent a very enjoyable week staying at Hotel Appia 422. Our room was comfortable and well equipped, and very clean. Unusually, there were free drinks (soft drinks and water) always available in the minibar, which was very welcome. Sandra was an excellent hostess and made us very welcome. This wasn't our first visit to Rome and we knew what we wanted to see this time, but Sandra was knowledgeable about other places to visit and suggesting current events and activities. Sandra also provided recommendations for local eateries. We ate several times at Sol, a very pleasant family-run trattoria very close to the hotel. The hotel is very convenient for the metro, which we would recommend rather than the buses, which can be infrequent and very crowded. We are very happy to recommend the Appia 422.

Brilliant hotel - recommended

The hotel is next to a metro station, taking you pretty much anywhere in Rome. The room was clean, the shower/toilet was also clean and had hot water every morning. Items in the minibar were free to take, and the room also had a programmable safe for any valuables. The owner of the hotel was very helpful, and had lots of recommendations for places to visit and eat. The room was a good size and the hotel had free wifi. The only real downside I can think of are that it was easy to hear the traffic and even people talking out on the street, even with the bay window shutters, windows and two thin curtains. If you are a light sleeper this may bother you. Overall I had a very good experience of the hotel and would recommend it to a friend.

Small but tidy

A perfectly fine 1 night stay in a small but modern room with a little balcony. It was quiet and comfortable, spotlessly clean and had a decent shower. Staff were polite, gentle and helpful. I had a car and the hotel has an arrangement with a secure, underground parking spot just 200 metres away, so that was useful. Then, the hotel is right by a Metro stop, so even more useful - just 15 minutes into Termini. It's a respectable, working / middle-class district so safe at night and there are some nice bars and cafes close by, plus a supermarket and various shops and street stalls open during the day.

Litet men utmärkt hotell

Vi bodde på hotellet fyra nätter och var mycket nöjda. Det är ett väldigt litet hotell men utmärkt. Rummet var rent och fräscht, men kanske en smula trångt. Badrummet var relativt stort och såg nyrenoverat ut. Personalen var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Hotellet ligger en liten bit utanför centrum men precis vid en tunnelbanestation (bara runt hörnet)så det är mycket smidigt att ta sig in till stan. Det är också nära till tågstationen (500m)dit det går direkttåg till flygplatsen. I området finns också flera caféer och restauranger, stor mataffär och shopping centrum. Vi skulle gärna bo på hotellet igen.
