Great area, amazing staff especially Giorgio, Leonardo & Daniel. Loved the room I was in as well. The only thing I'll add, is that the canvas above the bed needs vacuuming. Other than that I loved that the european ambiance was kept, instead of making the building into a generic hotel.

Great location, classic feel Hotel Farnese is in a very walkable area and close to a train station, which made it easy for us to explore. We were even able to run from the hotel to the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain at night. The place isn’t modern, it’s more quaint and traditional. And smaller than I expected, but it was a decent stay overall. My favorite part was seeing the owner’s dog, Heidi, every morning. That little touch made it feel homey. Receptionists were friendly.

Old fashioned hotel located in a former palace close to the Vatican. The hotel is in a nice quiet area, but very close to the sights of central Rome and to shopping and restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly.

It was a charming hotel and we were very please with our stay. The balcony was wonderful. The dog in the lobby was a plus and greeted us each time we left and returned to the hotel. The hotel breakfast was terrific and had everything you could want. The location was also great being close to the Vatican and other sites, but in a quiet neighborhood where you were joined by the locals

Wonderful stay, great location

The hotel staff were excellent - polite and helpful. The hotel was in a good location - walkable to Vatican, and if you enjoy walking, it's also walkable to the colosseum (about 3.5km). The bed was very comfortable. Neighbourhood had plenty of restaurants too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

We were greeted by a friendly and good dog upon our arrival. Room was beautiful and we enjoyed the balcony. I loved the great big bath towels! They were awesome! Would definitely stay there again given the opportunity to come back to Rome

Property was very very close to the Lepanto metro stop, which was very nice. Also, the staff members were very nice. The basement room with single twin bed was very small, but took care of my needs as a single traveler.

Cozy terrace where one could use. Facility needs improvement though but the location compensates all of it. Reception is friendly, but quite understaffed. It would have been better if they have a bar or restaurant in the evening. Staff at breakfast are generally friendly, except for one who was quite in a hurry. La Dolce Vita, madam 😅

The property is family owned. It was clean and neat and had antique furniture and decorations. No coffee machine or other amenities in the room. Bathtub access was not safe. Repair going on during our stay so water was shutoff for a few hours. Breakfast place is very tiny.

Hotel Farnese is a nice small hotel in a quiet area. It is an older property but it is kept in good condition and the staff are very friendly and helpful. A great convenience is the included breakfast; it is buffet style and they provide a good variety of options (i.e. more than a 'continental breakfast'). Also, the hotel is close enough to the popular tourist spots that we walked to them. Most were a 20-30 minute walk. The only time we took a taxi was when we went to the Colosseum. Our stay was for six nights and we are quite happy with our hotel choice.
