The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. This hotel is best if you want close proximity to the Vatican which we did. The rooms were clean and perfectly suitable. Staff would call us a taxi too the hotel which usually arrived with 4 minutes. The street is smallish so if you're taking a larger taxi to or from the hotel you may need to walk a little to the hotel.

Great location right by Trastevere without all the noise at night. Staff was helpful, rooms very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was a huge plus every morning. Will be staying again if I’m back in Rome!

We had a lovely time in Rome! It was our first time and the location of this hotel was really great. I was a little disappointed as I thought that all hotel guests had access to the terrace, which would have been nice to use, however the terrace is only for guests with a superior room. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room is clean, the staffs are nice, breakfast is good, the location is good. Only one thing you need to know about is a short small path from main steet to Hotel main entrance is very dirty.

Very clean. staff was very nice. location is pretty good. The only thing i will say is that i was unaware of the tax per person per night that had to be paid in cash???? i thought that was odd. the hotel itself was nice though. beds eh but clean and spacious

The whole staff was excellent. The breakfast was great! It was easy to walk to the Vatican and many great restaurants. The river is steps away and a good walking and biking trail. It was an easy walk to the train station. Andet and Avy were very helpful with logistics and helping us track my son’s lost suitcase. They and Junior really made us feel at home. Our room was lovely. They gave us good advice and helped us save money, as well. We highly recommend this hotel.

Very well located and at walking distance of many key locations. For example, it is a few minutes away from Vatican City that could be the start of your visit. It is located in a back street so very quiet. Decent breakfast is served at this place for a good start of your walk. I would recommend for sure.

This hotel is on a narrow street a block from the river, a short walk to either Vatican City or the Travestere area. Michelangelo and the rest of the staff were very friendly and professional. If you're looking for a vista overlooking the city or a sunset view, a short, steep walk up the hill behind the hotel leads to Janinculum Hill, which offers both.

Fantastic location

My daughter (24) and I stayed in room 402. The location was fantastic, allowed for easy access to all the big sites, a great venue to have a glass of wine overlooking the river, and enjoy a quiet sleep. The staff were personable and helpful. The hotel was clean and off the busy corridor, but close to transit. I / we would recommend this hotel to others and would stay there again.

Good stay

I am very pleased with the stay at la rovere. Friendly staff, eager to help when needed, fast service when needed. Very nice room, me and my daughter stayed in a double exclusive and it even included a grand private terrace A nice combination of old structure of the building and contemporary art. Breakfast was nog the biggest, but not needed, when there was something for all tastes Thank you. we will certainly think of coming back

The La Rovere is in an excellent location. Away from the noisy city center; walkable to all surrounding locations. The room was clean; staff very helpful; Definitely consider this location on the next trip.
