This was more of a hostel or dorm experience rather than a hotel experience. The room is tiny but we had to share a bathroom with 4 other rooms. This was not on the listing when the reservation was made. They did email us a few days in advance to let us know but by that time it was too late. The location is convenient and close to the Trevi fountain and the Spanish steps but I would like to reiterate you are renting an extremely basic room and will be sharing a bathroom.

Highly recommended

We were greeted with a very pleasant staff. Very accomodating. The room and bed is bigger than expected. The structure is quite old but well maintained. Close to metro,bus stops,restaurants and tourist attractions. We highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel owner & staff take great pride in their work and making you comfortable- the shared toilet was no problem and always clean. We are very pleased with our stay and would return! Only thing to note is the courtyard outside the window can be a little noisy in the morning for a short period around 7-8 but not the worst. Thank you for our stay!

Perfect location, great host, just what we needed

My friend and I travelled to Rome for a week and this hotel is a perfect location. Felt safe, and the host was very helpful and on hand. The hotel is rated accordingly, and is not a luxury hotel but is not advertised as one. I probably wouldn’t book for a romantic week away, but for travelling with friends, with great bus links and train / tube links, this is perfect.

Lovely place to stay

The owner of the hotel was lovely! He gave us loads of recommendations and even tried to help us get tickets for museums. Additionally he waited for us when our train was delayed and we had to do a very late check in! The only thing I could ask for was some AC. However, we were given a very powerful fan that worked pretty well!

Hotel have simple standars, nothing special but if you need only for sleep is ok. We have a bad experience because we don't have a water per 2 days and no one inform us about that. We feel very frustrated and get only apologise, no refund has been given. The rest was ok, clean and service was ok. Close to all attractions.

My wife and I liked the location and Rudi was very helpful. However, the two rooms we were offered were nothing like portrayed on the Expedia site. The first room had a shabby carpet with a grubby ensuite. The second room had a tiled floor, better ensuite but no room to move. We asked for an upgrade the following morning and were told nothing would be available for at least a couple of days. We opted for a larger room without a toilet. Not our preferred our chosen option. However, the room was cleaned daily as were the shared toilet/bathroom facilities.
