The Ludus Rooms have a great location by the Colleseum. The property was clean and comfortable and the staff was welcoming.

Not a hotel! A few rooms to let. No one on duty at the desk 24/7. When staff were there, they were very helpful! No elevator. These rooms are 3 flights up, past 2 other companies with rooms for rent. I thought the ad was quite misleading.

Ludus rooms is in the perfect location for people visiting Rome, it is situated across the road from the colosseum. A hop on and hop off bus station is on the corner of the hotel which makes it easy to get to all the attractions. Plenty of restaurants and bars lined along the street where the doorway to the Ludus rooms is located and a few supermarkets and bakeries are there also. We had a city facing room so could see the colosseum from our window, the hotel had a communal kitchen at the end of the hallway with microwave, sink, toaster, kettle and dining essentials plates, cutlery etc. bathroom has a shower, hairdryer and they supply complimentary shampoo and body wash. They supplied tea and coffee sachets daily next to the kettle in the room. If I had to give a negative it would be that it is not suitable for anyone who has trouble with stairs and there are no lifts.

Honeymoon stay

Just wow!! We stayed here for our honeymoon in the most incredibly beautiful room. The location was incredible, right next door to the coliseum. The room was beautifully kept and we never wanted to leave! Thank you so so much for the most wonderful stay :)
