Simone and Annette were wonderful hosts and the property is a short walk to the Vatican. We really enjoyed the neighborhood restaurants and the morning croissants were an added treat.

Value for money. Many nice restaurants in 1km radius that are mainly filled with locals. Good connections to everywhere. Super easy check-in / checkout. Helpful and responsive hosts. Very comfortable beds!!!!

Delivery of crouissants each morning was very nice. Avalailability of tea coffee and other breakfeast or snacks were readily available was also a very nice addition. Location was within walking distance to some of the main attractions. Property felt safe. My only feedback would be on the mainfloor doorlock where is unique that a picture be made on how to use it.

The property is beautiful, once you get inside and taste the coffee and croissant for breakfast there's nothing to search of. Metro station close by, lot of restaurants around. The property is managed by Simone and Annette, we've only seen Simone and he is very nice, he would answer all of your questions and help you. Perfect place to stay for Italian vacation. What are you waiting for? do not hesitate, i highly recommend Old Kitchen Vatican Suites. Thank you Simone!

Simone and Anette are the best! They are not there 24h, but are super helpful from the minute we arrive at 12am until the day we left. What a beautiful couple! You can use the kitchen at anytime you like and we were always served the best croissants in Rome. The hotel is in an apartment block - 4th floor with a retro style lift, though the rooms are styled like hotel rooms. The room was fantastic, with great decor and character. Super comfortable stylish room, in awesome secure location. The location, transport by bus, taxi or train was fantastic. short walk to the Vatican. Extremely convenient location. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Our stay at the Old Kitchen Vatican was great. The area is safe . It is a 25min walk to the start of the major attractions . 10 min walk to the Vatican. 2mins to the metro. The area is full of cafes restaurants and shopping.The apartment has a shared entrance and kitchen which is stocked with bread fruit cheese and juices. Fresh croissants are delivered daily. Like everywhere in Rome the facilities are old but charming and extremely clean. There is an elevator. Annette and Simone are wonderful hosts. They answer in a timely fashion are considerate and fair. I would not hesitate to book again.

Rooms are situated on the 4th floor in a beautiful traditional apartment block accessed via small traditional Lift. Spacious bedroom with good en-suite and a large kitchen area where self serve continental breakfast is available. ( And hot drinks day and night- with an excellent coffee machine!) Your choice of fresh croissants are delivered to the kitchen every morning! Bedroom decor and furniture is quite basic - traditional old tiles rather than carpet, open shelving unit as a wardrobe and the curtains could do with being upgraded- but I found this all quite charmingly original. The room is comfortable and warm (Feb stay- cold nights) with adjustable heating and good air con unit if needed- we just opened the window. Good quality sheets and pillows although, as seems to be the case in Italian hotels, the beds are quite firm! Situated very close to Vatican and just a few yards away from Metro from where you can easily and cheaply get to all other landmarks. We also managed to get directly from the FCO airport to the apartment on the train and metro -was surprisingly easy. The venue is in a less touristy area than the other side of the river but has good little cafes, supermarkets, shops etc immediately around it. The owners Annette and Simone were excellent at letting us know how to access keys on arrival and were very helpful by text message throughout. An immediate response to any queries. Overall good value and highly recommended.
