Very good value place for Rome. Pleasant staff. Room was very basic and could do with a few more things to make it nicer (like an electric kettle) but no complaints. Restaurant was great for feeding the family at a reasonable price.

It was a chalet with kitchenette that we booked. The dishes and utensils were lacking. It was somewhat a bit small for a family of 4. We have to take turns for showers or using the toilet at times. The shower water was nice and hot. If you are used to trailer camper living, then this will be good unit for your family. The restaurant serves good food and value. The restaurant staff were quite attentive and pleasant. We enjoyed the European buffet breakfast at $7 euro per person. Each person gets 2 hard boiled eggs, box of cereal with milk, grilled ham and cheese sandwich, croissant, toasts, juice and choice of espresso or cap. The check in and out were efficient. The front desk staff were very nice and attentive to your needs as well. The resort is outside of Rome. We used the train system daily to get around Rome. Once you understand the train system, which is very easy to get around but it can be time consuming sometimes.

We liked the property for the Chalet we stayed in, V1, fenced in, little yard, patio, kitchenette, medium refrigerator, fairly private, easy access to laundryroom, we liked the breakfast (with nice people at the front making espresso for us) (7euros and it was a valued meal), the niceness of the front desk and their help, the property is located 15 miles from the airport and about 5 miles outside the Vatican and Ancient Rome. Their is a grocery store (Panoram Aureila) that we went to...great selection of Italian foods, meats, groceries, cheeses, breads which made our stay wonderful. We taxied everywhere (using MyTaxi app....highly recommended as it cut down on time). The bus stop is near the entrance and the train station is a ten minute walk (we did not use either)… We recommend getting a wifi mobile device to rent while you are here...we carried it with us and provided our phones with wifi the whole time. We did not use the workout facilities, but they seemed to be used a lot by locals and hotel guests. What we think you should think about: the property is located away from city center, so you will need to ride in somehow to see the sites: train, bus, taxi. The units are stand alone units...for the most part, it's quiet, but it sits above a busy street (Via Aureillia) and you can hear the ambulances. Overall, we gave this a good value, overall enjoyable experience, overall quiet and clean..Made our trip nice.

For a quick stay, the property is ok. The cleanliness of the bathroom needs work though. The shower looked questionable. There’s a lot of amenities and close to the airport (FCO). The bus stop is not that close and there is a train station but they do not sell tickets. So it’s ok for a night or if you really want to save on hotel costs.

Camping village to the West of Rome
I had a lovely little cabin with 2 single beds, great for 1, a bit tight for 2 unless you are out all day! The cabins are in a quiet area not far from reception. there is a pool, a small restaurant and a gym. Actually there is an indoor pool also under the outdoor pool! Staff are friendly and helpful.....bus route not far but coming back you need to take a 47 not 46 so that you get let off on the correct side of the road...which is EXTREMELY busy! There is another camping village a bit closer to Rome on the same bus route and it is opposite the Paramour supermarket which is handy. Dont know what their facilities are though.

Nice stay outside of the city, which is what we were looking for. Beautiful pool. So nice to cool off in after sightseeing in the day.
