This is a charming hotel tucked away in Villa Borghese, with an excellent, friendly staff, great decor, wonderful rooftop dining area and good food. The rooms are small, but well appointed. We very much enjoyed our stay -- it was our favorite hotel in Italy.

It’s a lovely hotel. Very clean. The staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was excellent. We like to walk but be forewarned the hotel is on a hill so be prepared for some exercise!

Located close to Spanish Steps area, quieter and pretty neighborhood. Can still walk to other major sites (about 20 min walk). Pretty and clean hotel with great breakfast. Highly recommend!

Stylish hotel in a superb City.

Amazing!! Highly recommend. Great location. Incredible view from the rooftop whilst enjoying an excellent breakfast. Staff are incredibly helpful. Beds are super comfortable. Lovely toiletries, fab shower, and excellent amenities on the whole!

I have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world. The Sofitel Villa Borghese was superior in every aspect: hospitality, attention, care, elegance, and with a fantastic staff and gorgeous views of Rome. I am inspired to come stay here every 6 months!

All the staff were very courteous and attentive. The location was very good for reaching all the major attractions in Rome. We would have preferred to have access to a bar without the need to have a meal. Tourists should be vigilant with regard to pick pockets on the metro. My wife and I nearly became prey to this but fortunately my wife was alert to the danger. Overall, we were very pleased we chose this hotel.

Very disappointed in Sofitel. We had a long italy trip and every hotel we stayed in was beyond amazing and they all had breakfast included and great service. Sofitel was extremely expensive for nothing. Breakfast isn’t included. We booked a luxury room with view and my view was a construction site that they refused to change for us even though we PAID for a view. Beyond disappointing.

It was absolutely perfection in everything. The property area was safe and quiet. The staff was so attentive and kind. The dining view and food were excellent and breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back to visit and stay with Sofitel.
