The room was clean and property itself was clean but the area surrounding the property felt unsafe. I am also a person of color so perhaps that had something to do with it. Overall good hotel!

El hotel está muy bien. Todo muy limpio y el personal amable; nos diero mucha información sobre qué ver por Roma. Lo único malo es la ubicación, la calle donde está es muy solitaria y por la noche da respeto volver andando. El autobús te deja en la puerta pero el último es a las 12 de la noche.

While the rooms and staff were nice, location was not. It is not near anything and at night I was not comfortable with the vibe. There is no staff on site after 8, locks were not screwed on the door completely and a weird guy was lurking around.

Avoid this place

To be honest, the place is very clean, however it is not a hotel it is more like a hostel. I was very disappointed with the service the Bricks provided. I went with my family. The room was clean but was filled with mosquitoes and bugs everywhere. Also, the air conditioning was not working. It was heat only or nothing. Upon telling the staff about these problems, the staff was completely unsympathetic. They informed me if I wanted air I would just open the rear doors for air but if I did that more bugs and mosquitoes would come in. Also, I asked for a new room, they told me I had to pay extra to change the room, even though the hotel issues were their problem. To add to it, the owner happened to be there when the issue was brought up and his response was “here is some off for the mosquitoes “. This was unacceptable. No compassion at all was shown and this was very disappointing. Additionally, this hostel is very far from all the tourist/landmarks (city). Transportation such as a bus/ metro or taxi must be taken to het everywhere. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place and I would suggest to find something else. Overall it was a horrible experience.

The ladies at the front desk were very helpful. We liked that there was a full kitchen and supplies. It was also close to the metro station.

Very helpful staff who explained the bus and subway system and sold us the cards we needed to take pubic transportation to the sites we had planned to see. Would have taken cabs or walked. Saved us time and money.

It is not a hotel to go with family

We were expecting a better place. The pictures are beautiful but the reality is different. It is fine for a hotel of step but not to take children. Men enter and leave all the time and the reception is not open 24 hrs. the area was not to our liking. we feel insecure when walking around there We didnt change the hotel because the lady (Dara) who was in the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. I don't said is the worse but i dont recommend it ti someone to cisit Rome for first time .

Amazing experience!

As soon as we arrived at our hotel, we were greeted by a friendly staff. They were the friendliest and most informative staff I have ever encountered. The hotel itself was beautiful in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean! Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking to stay in Rome.

Great place to stay.

Great location, plenty of parking if you are driving or public transportation if not but the best part was the hotel staff, special mention for Giada, she made our stay feel more like with friends than staying at a hotel. Great experience in Rome.

리셉션 직원분 너무 친절하셔서 기분까지 좋게 해주시네요... 리셉션 찾기는 조금 어려웠어요. 네비게이션으로 호텔 찾았는데 아파트다보니 호텔 이름도 안나와있고 리셉션 안내가 없어 처음 헤맸습니다. 기차역, 지하철역까지 800미터정도로 이동에도 편했고, 주차도 아파트 바로 앞 공터에 무료주차가 가능해서 복잡한 로마 시내는 대중교통으로 이동할수 있었습니다. 그리고 호텔 인근에 마트도 있고, 버스도 다니니 잘 선택한 것 같습니다. 다만 텍스가 별도로 있으니 확인 하세요...

We had two rooms during our trip to Roma. Both rooms were really nice and clean. The bed was really nice and comfortable. Even if you can hear everything through the walls / doors we slept very well. Recommendation for all other Roma visitors!

I had a wonderful time @ the bricks. from the moment I stepped through the door I was welcomed by Djana (i hope i got that right)who not only supplied me with ample tips how to best enjoy her wonderful City but her enthousiasm was so infectious that it gave me the energy to head into the city and I was well prepared thanks to her and a handy Free pamflet guide that was my bible in rome. the hotel was clean and well organized. laundry service was helpful and the private and public balcony was very Nice. I am somebody Who dislikes the bus and lives for the subway and I tuned out Djanas explenation about the bus routes. the way to the nearest metro station takes a good 10 minuten and unfortunatly its not a Nice walk. But for this price and the peace and relaxation i got every night it was well worth it. The hostel used to be near a brick factory that supplied most of the bricks for rome. You can feel this in the hostel. The Roma spirit is very much alive here.

Really nice, modern and friendly place.

Just come back from Rome and have nothing but praise for The Bricks. Central to most things, nice, clean and modern with great attention to detail. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again.
