A super smart boutique hotel in a lovely part of Rome. Just 10 minutes from the Spanish Steps, 15 from the Trevi Fountain & 25 from the Vatican - perfectly located. Beautiful room & bathroom - very quiet. Very helpful staff. The bar & restaurant are stylish & relaxing. The continental breakfast had an extensive selection of items with cooked options included along with à la carte ones too. Would thoroughly recommend staying here & woud definitely return.

Management Reversed Written Agreement & Ignored Guest Safety My experience at The Goethe Hotel Roma reflects a severe breakdown in management integrity and guest protection. Management explicitly approved a proposed solution in writing. Upon arrival, the Front Desk confirmed and implemented that agreement. Hours later, the hotel reversed its position, claiming there had been a “misunderstanding,” and demanded a significantly higher rate. Emails from management were later treated as if they carried no authority. Confirmation messages were ignored. Compensation promises were withdrawn. This is not a pricing dispute. This is a credibility issue. Even more concerning, housekeeping entered my room without knocking while I was inside. No explanation or acknowledgment was provided. Written commitments were denied. Staff were left contradicting management. Guest concerns were dismissed. For a property affiliated with SLH and connected to Hilton Honors, this level of inconsistency and disregard for privacy is alarming. Travelers should be aware.

I don't even know where to start! I booked The Goethe for my last night in Rome before flying home. I have stayed at several luxury hotels and The Goethe is no exception. The service was incredible from the moment of check in to checkout. The entire room was immaculate, comfortable bed, gorgeous bathroom. The Spa was also an incredible feature that I fully enjoyed. The price was incredible for the center of Rome and for the luxurious amenities. Breakfast was also delicious. I will absolutely stay here when I want a stay in the heart of La Citta Eterna <3 Thank you to the amazing staff working day and night

För att vara vad dom hävdar ett 5 stjärnigt hotell svajjade servicen mer än vad som kan förväntas, kan bero på att hotellet är relativt nyöppnat (6 mån) men både i baren och restaurangen var det ingen finess, det kändes oerfaret. Front desk var helt ok och tillmötesgående. I min mening är det en bra bit kvar för att lyfta det här till en 5 stjärnig upplevelse.

The Goethe Hotel was a great experience, everything was as advertised. The location is perfectly situated for walking Rome and dining out, however, I suggest setting aside at least one nite to dine in at the Goethe. The in house restaurant was among the best we experienced in Rome. The menu was finely tuned and concise, and I would give it my highest recommendation. I can't stress enough how perfect the location is for walking Rome, Vatican City is a beautiful 30 minute stroll and in the opposite direction the Galleria Borghese is 30 minutes and each trip takes you by dozens of smaller elegant squares and fountains of interest... The Goethe Hotel is a wonderful choice for an active traveler... We will joyfully return on our next trip to Rome.
