"This delightful house is set in an small historic town located in a central part of the Loire, on the river Cher. From here we could explore the Loire Valley itself, the Solonge, and Berry. "We really enjoyed our trip to the Loire Valley, the area is really in the countryside and lovely and peaceful. The cottage was clean, well equipped and roomy. We had some good trips out to Blois (the Chateau is really nice) and the town had some good shops, Clos Luce Parc (which is where Leonardo da Vinci lived), this was very popular with school trips etc. and is well worth a visit, as was Orleans (for shops etc.). We had a good day out also at the Zoo Parc de Beauval, not cheap but well...
