One of the front office staff (he was well dressed and personable) was very helpful telling us how to walk to the War Memorial Redipuglia. It was extremely beautiful and humbling. Also we had to leave before the beautiful 5 am breakfast started and the morning front staff gentleman let us grab a croissant before we left. So kind!

A very serviceable hotel less than 10 minutes drive from the airport. The staff member at check-in was super fast and seamless which was very appreciated considering we arrived after midnight! Breakfast was also nicer than expected, though we came down quite late and things were running low. Staff also helped us arrange a taxi when we left.

Excellent choice when traveling to Trieste, especially if you have an early morning outbound flight. Check in was organized, rapid and very cordial. The room was immaculate, well appointed and comfortable; the bathroom had every amenity you could wish for. I arrived about 8:30 pm and thankfully the restaurant was serving until 9:30; the service was very friendly and quick and the food delicious. The reception desk arranged for a taxi at 05:15 am which arrived on time the next morning; the breakfast buffet was already prepared and looked amazing but I only had time for a coffee. I highly recommend Hotel Major and will definitely stay there again when traveling to Trieste. The entire experience was so pleasant and in addition I felt comfortable and safe as a solo female traveler.

Stayed the night before an early morning flight to Frankfort. The room was spacious. The staff was friendly at check in and in the restaurant. The desk ordered us a taxi for the next morning. The food in the restaurant was very good. It was quite busy for dinner. There is an Aldi close by as well if you need a grocery store. The train from Trieste central to the hotel was less than 4 Euro per person on a Saturday. The airport is close to the hotel but a taxi from the train station at the airport cost 25 Euro on and 29 Euro to the airport early the next morning. 😁
