"We used the hotel as base to explore Florence. The hotel was clean, quiet and had good a/c. Hotel staff was very helpful in finding parking and giving directions around the neighborhood. In the summer parking is not an issue, you can park almost anywhere. Breakfast was good. Overall we had a good stay. Hotel is good for travel with kids. Also reasonable price compared to other options in the area."

Bus stop right behind hotel, hotel staff pointed this out and I wished I had taken advantage because Cab drive to Florence city about 55 euros each way. "Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield. "
