Fantastic house in a perfect rural location
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning house in rural Spain. The area feels very safe and the house has secure boundaries and a gate. It is easy to get to nearby Ronda which we did for supermarket trips and to visit nearby tourist attractions. We spent most of our time at the house relaxing by the delightful and clean, green tiled pool which fits in stunningly with the beautiful surroundings, especially the old olive trees. The garden is very thoughtfully planned out, is well maintained and private for relaxing by the pool. The views from the roof terrace are fabulous with mountains in the distance in most directions. We were lucky enough to experience a fantastic sunset while we were there. The house itself is nicely decorated with a homely feel. There is a good range of bedroom sleeping arrangements and two bathrooms work well. The kitchen is well equipped and we only ate at a restaurant once during our stay for a special occasion. The rest of the time we cooked for ourselves and found everything that we needed. We felt very much at home. This house and garden is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful, Rural Getaway - close to Ronda!
The property was as described and had everything we needed for our stay! There were six of us (me, my husband, our two college aged kids, my mom and her friend). We had an issue with the shower and they had it fixed immediately! It was a perfect layout for our group with two bedroooms in each wing and two bathrooms. It was very authentic and a great space in rural Spain!

A beautiful house in stunning gardens with a pool and covered area for outdoor dining. Very well equipped for 7 adults and Carmen was very communicative and accomodating. A car is necessary for this property. Would definitely recommend!

Relaxing 2 weeks
Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at Finca El Carmen for 2 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carmen, our host, is very easy to communicate with. She answers messages promptly before and during stay. The villa is as beautiful as advertised. Very well equipped and safe. The pool is delightful and the shaded area under the pergola is the perfect spot for a meal or a read. The location is perfect for visiting various places in Andalucia, mostly the pueblos blancos. Although only 10 min drive to Ronda, the location is rural with a few neighbours around. You do need a car but there seem to be a few hiking paths towards the sierra leaving not far from the house.

Wonderful house!
This house lived up to all expectations. The house was well furnished and all equipment needed. Outside space was wonderful and roof terrace had views to behold especially at night for star gazing! The written guide about property and surrounding areas was comprehensive and really helpful. Carmen and her sister greeted us on arrival and were really kind and helpful. We stayed with 4 year old and two 2 year olds and they loved the outside space...but just needed to be watched around the pool! Ronda was just 10 mins away. All in all lived up to expectations!

Fantastic place
We loved every second of our stay at Finca el Carmen. The house was even better than it presented on VRBO, and our expectations were high going in. The home is spacious and perfect for a group. Ronda is an exciting, frenetic place, and this place is a perfect escape after a busy and fun day. The pool amid the olive grove will lower anyone's blood pressure. Carmen is unfailingly responsive, and details like plates, glasses and utensils are well met. We can't recommend it enoug.h.

This is a beautiful finca. The location is great for motorbikes as the access is flat. The accommodation is secure with automatic gates. The property is quiet serene and very beautifully decorated in the Spanish style. The pool is lovely and the outside is excellent for eating and relaxing. English: Our family just had the pleasure of spending a week at Finca el Carmen and it was glorious. Carmen was a kind, generous and gracious Host and ensured our visit was perfect in everyway. We would love to return with all of our children and spend more time at this lovely property and exploring Ronda and the surrounds, a truly lovely part of Spain. Spanish: Nuestra familia tuvo el placer de pasar una semana en Finca el Carmen y fue glorioso. Carmen fue una anfitriona amable, generosa y amable y se aseguró de que nuestra visita fuera perfecta en todos los sentidos. Nos encantaría volver con todos nuestros hijos y pasar más tiempo en esta hermosa propiedad y explorar Ronda y sus alrededores, una parte verdaderamente encantadora de España.

Great villa. We have been coming to Ronda since 1999 and this is one of the best places we have stayed. Close to Ronda (10 minutes by car) but peaceful and in beautiful surroundings. Lovely clean pool and Carmen is the perfect host. We will be back

Un muy buen momento
Hola Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia en Finca el Carmen cerca de Ronda. La casa es perfecta para dos familias y es espaciosa y bien diseñada. Hay muchas áreas para sentarse para el almuerzo y la cena y la piscina es fantástica. Uno de nuestros aspectos favoritos de este lugar fue el increíble techo / veranda que es perfecto para tomar algo al atardecer. En cuanto a la ubicación, el lugar está a solo 20 minutos de Ronda y sus tiendas, restaurantes y supermercados, etc. Todo muy fácil. Lo único negativo fue que algunas noches los perros vecinos eran bastante ruidosos y mantenían despiertos a algunos miembros de nuestro grupo. Hablando con Carmen, la dueña, creo que no creo que esto fuera algo habitual. Si te quedas aquí, ¡sin duda lo disfrutarás!

Lovely villa in super location
We all really enjoyed our stay here and would happily return for another holiday. It is very well situated near to Ronda, yet is surrounded by beautiful views across olive groves to the mountains beyond. Carmen was very welcoming and a delight to deal with.

Tranquil setting near Ronda
Carmen's property was ideal for us, since we were looking for a relaxing way to wind down from our 2 week trip to Spain. Just being outside Ronda gave us a peaceful setting but allowed us access to the city center with only a short drive. It was also wonderful to be able to visit some of the marvelous wineries in the region. The house is modern and quite tastefully decorated with plenty of space to spread out when traveling with friends. We didn't have an opportunity to use the pool or the outdoor grill, but it would be on our list of things to do if we were staying longer in the warmer months. Carmen was quick to respond to my email questions (with Google translate) and it was easy to drive to the property using Google map. She even made her sister available to us on check-in to help translate details. Definitely would come back!

Maravillosa semana
La casa se encuentra en una magnifica y espaciosa finca. Esta muy bien equipada y precisa de cualquier elemento que puedas necesitar. A la decoración no le falta ni un detalle !
