"Started 7 night, it was beautiful, but there was no hot water in the shower and it got pretty grating having to hear the owner drone about politics at breakfast ever morning. "

"The property is amazing with great views and unique experience up in the rainforest. It is secluded and provides an eco experience. The roads up to the lodging are a little more challenging but we had a 4x4 vehicle and made it even with heavy rain. The hotel is currently partially under renovations but the host is very nice and try to ensure an enjoyable experience. Don't go into it thinking its a 5 star resort but rather an off-the-beaten-path experience."

"We did a 6 day stay on Culebra and love the Melones area for the views and calm water. We stayed at Villa 2. The room is very elegant with a clean and comfy feel. The villa came with free wifi, direct TV, and access to Netflix (your account). AC worked fabulously at 72 degrees. The view is breathtaking and the balcony comes with an awning/sun shade that was perfect for noon lunches. Sunsets are perfect (just have Off on hand for the mosquitoes). "Jessica and Ruben were incredible hosts. Their property is so gorgeous with views of both the rain forest and the ocean. We loved that their animals were roaming around! "The service at this resort is above and beyond anywhere i have stayed in the world. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They worked together as a team and followed through when we needed assitance. For example, my daughter LOVED the nightly smores. A couple nights the smores were not available. So we asked Emmanuel at Seagrapes if they woud be out that night. There was no plan for smores....BUT he said they could make some for my daughter! He passed that message to the following manager and when we came out at 6pm, they were all set up for smores! My daughter was so excited! This is a small example but our entire trip was like this! Josh was an incredible server. Vivianette helped us get to go breakfast when we had a very early excusion! The butlers even had breakfast ready IN OUR CAR one day we were leaving early! The ladies who gave us cookies for turndown service were so friendly. The team working the pool and chair service was awesome. There was never a line at valet or the restaurants. We had an A plus experience and i credit the service. Wow. Way to go!"
