Cute 4 bed 2 bath cottage, short walk to shared road end dock.

This cabin is available year long -

Welcome Boaters, Vacationers, Hunters, Skiers, Relaxers & Snowmobilers!!!

4 bed 2 bath family cottage, 3 min walk to the beautiful Higgins Lake with community dock. newly redone fire pit, large yard, plenty of out door seating on the large deck, nice and quiet area. 6 mile drive to the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill. 5 mile drive to the public boat launch with plenty of parking. There is no boat mooring at the road end doc. Our place is not a party house, it for people to hang out and have fun. We ask that quiet time is 10 on week days and 11 on weekends. We have neighbors that have been there for along time and as our guests we ask that you to respect them. Public areas like the dock need to be repected and know that its used by many and many houses are around. Please refrain from using cursewords , there are kids around.

Cute place with lots of beds

Awesome fire pit! I wish they offered wash cloths and bat/beach towels, because they take up a space to pack. Otherwise everything else was wonderful.

Perfect Getaway

Great location to enjoy Higgins Lake. The house was very well outfitted and comfy. Jillian responded to a few questions right away and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great house near Higgins lake

This is a nice 4 bedroom house walkable to Higgins lake. It is in a very quiet neighborhood. It has amazing water pressure in the showers. There is plenty of room for large groups. There is a large fire pit with plenty of seating. Firewood not supplied but you can buy it for 6 a bundle. No bath or hand towels. Shallow water for quite a ways out but very clear. Overall great place to stay.

Guys Golf Trip

Good location for golf courses within an hour. Nice for all 4 of us to have own room! 2 full bathrooms is great too. Big deck, central air, and a bonfire pit gave us several options to relax after golf. Good chance we'll book again.

Plenty of space, helpful kind host

House was great and very clean, plenty of space for a big group. Nice fireplace, though we didn't use it with it being summer. Comfy beds was nice too. Host very kind and accommodating when we needed to make a few changes before our stay too. Will look for this rental next time we can come to the area! Thanks!

Wonderful New Years get away

We had a great time celebrating New Years weekend with the entire family here.. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and our dog. The cabin was fully stocked and comfortable.. Very clean and accommodating. The owner was very nice and helpful with everything. The neighborhood is really cute with many streets to walk your pet and its very close to the lake with public access.

Family Vacation 2023

This property served as a nice getaway for our family of five. The property manager was very prompt in response time, which was very reassuring. There was plenty of room and layout of the house was great. We enjoyed several walks to the lake and around the neighborhood. All in all, it was a very nice week spent in the Higgins Lake community.

Take your families!

We frequent the Higgins Lake area a lot least 3x a year, staying in various rentals. We have never stayed in the same one more than once. This property will be our new favorite home to book. It’s centrally located close to sxs trails, close to the lake, so clean, fully stocked, with an amazing outdoor fire pit area. We had 2 families staying in the house. LOTS of beds with any and everything we could have needed. We loved the bathrooms. Not everyone in Michigan knows how to bathroom, but this property did. I don’t have a single negative thing to say. It was a perfect Memorial Day weekend. Thank you so much for hosting us! Can’t wait to book again!

Very comfortable property

This place is a gem. Very clean, nicely decorated. Kitchen had all the amenities you could possibly need. Bedrooms were cozy and the place had so much seating indoor and outside. Fire pit is so nice and on brick pavement which was perfect. The deck is huge! Neighbors were also friendly and the water is close by. I highly recommend this cozy cottage. We will for sure be coming back ❤️❤️

We had an amazing time at this rental. Total of 8 guys for a few days. plenty of beds for everyone and nice big yard. The huge deck was a favorite hang out spot for the majority of the trip. Super clean and the owner was very helpful. Considering renting again and just bringing the wife and kids. 10 out of 10.

Michigan Lakes Region FALL Getaway

This cozy 2 story home provided the perfect location for exploring 2 beautiful lakes as well as multiple nearby Michigan State Parks to enjoy the stunning FALL foliage,nature, and fresh air in a quiet country setting. The home was very clean, well equipped, and upon a special request the owners were happy to provide bath towels for 2 very appreciative Ian-harried Floridians since they are not normally provided. I am a ‘frequent VRBO-er’; but my traveling companion was a ‘first-timer’ to the VRBO experience and this stay SOLD her on why it’s such a GREAT idea!!

Our family had a great time for a long weekend at the cottage. We did some kayaking on the Ausable River, fishing on the lake and spent lots of time around the fire pit. The house had a few quirks, but that is just a function of being an older house. It was very well maintained and clean and had plenty of beds for our extended family to sleep in. The owner provided clear instructions and was prompt with communication and responding to questions.
