"We thoroughly enjoyed Sunnybank house. There's plenty of room to be alone or with company. All the bedrooms are ensuite, so there were no problems getting everyone out of the house for early tours or other activities. The house was clean and tidy and has a very pleasant ambiance. Kitchen was well equipped and the sauna was very popular with the older grandchildren. Great place to spend a week in Ireland."

"Beautiful location on the water. Fireplace for turf fires. Basic accommodations but basic is all you need in such a fantastic locality. The folks in Carna were accommodating. Be careful while driving here - but you probably already know that."

"After a whirlwind tour of Dublin and Cork we found a refreshing change of pace at this bungalow outside of Oughterard to ring in the New Year. There was plenty of room for the five of us and it made a great landing spot for day trips to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway."

"Our stay was really nice. Make sure you navigate to the exact coordinates provided by the host on Google maps. Attempting to navigate to the address will take you about 1/2 a mile (1km) away. There are few extra amenities at the house. Towels were in very short supply, and one had a hard spot on it. There were no washcloths. There were very few cleaning materials. There was no soap or shampoo provide. We had to read the book carefully and do the work, and wait, to have enough hot water for a...

"The property is in an ideal location for Galway City and surrounding area.. It is dated and could do with some TLC ,along with the garden. The local area has some fantastic scenery and is almost a step back in time. The local Pub restaurant has a great atmosphere ,and the food and beer were marvellous! "

"Stunning property! Incredible staff. The location was STELLAR!!!! If you want to be close to town, this is not your place. IF you want an incredible experience …. This is your place! Food was great. The service in the bar was not all that great however there was one waitress that swooped in and caught everyone up and helped the entire bar. I wish I had her name because she deserves a huge raise!!! I love this place and would stay here over and over again. Just such an amazing staff and location!"
