The Godfrey Detroit, Curio Collection By Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean, staff was friendly."
The Siren Hotel, an Ash Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff was kind & welcoming. Tidy room but on smaller side. Rooms are okay. Towels and bathrooms clean but older showers and towels smell. Coffee shop 1st floor was nice. Valet was easy & fast. No vending machines on-site was a negative, especially after a day out and wanting to get something to drink."
MotorCity Casino Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent Facility. My only drawback was the choice of restaurants that were open for a nice sit down dinner. Alternatively, I did have a quick sub sandwich, soup, salad which was very good… Breakfast offering was also very good!"
Atheneum Suite Hotel

Crowne Plaza Auburn Hills by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The room was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The pool and hot tub were very well maintained, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and very informative. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed our experience!"
Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, a Wyndham Hotel
8/10 Good
"We had a fantastic stay at the Pontchartrain! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and check-in was wonderful. I loved the little welcome touches in the lobby, bottled water, BBQ chips, and fun bottled sodas like grape, red cream, and vanilla cream. The only hiccup was that my ID was accidentally kept at the front desk and I wasn’t contacted to let me know. The hotel has a beautiful historic feel. Our room was CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, with awesome views! Being an older building, there were some gaps around the walls and under the door that allowed quite a bit of hallway noise into the room. The lobby restaurant had a nice ambiance once they turned on our table lamp. The soup of the day wasn’t available because we were told they don’t make it when it’s hot outside, and my wood-fired flatbread was basically dough, marinara, and shredded cheddar. Nothing to write home about, but the drinks were good! Breakfast is $18/person for a buffet, so we skipped it. Overnight valet was $45, and the valet staff were professional and friendly. Overall, we had a fantastic time! A few small things kept it from 5 stars, but I’d happily recommend it and stay again."
Hotel Houze Detroit Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"The area looked a little sketchy but it was fine. Rooms were big , clean and nice. Staff was warm and helpful. The homeless outside the windows were just sleeping. The rate for holding your bag was 15 per bag and 50 early check in. A little ridiculous. The vending machines were empty."
