"The property looks like it is very close to the train station on a map, but the reality is quite different. More than 1km away from the city, on the wrong side of the rail tracks in a dreadful location. The hotel is modern and very clean, but no hot water for a shower, either in the evening or morning is very poor for any star of hotel. When i mentioned upon checking out, the receptionist good careless. The restaurant is close, so is the gym and meeting rooms. Breakfast was to be a voucher for somewhere not exactly next door, or a box. Not delivered to the room. I chose to take mine away as I had an early check out. This 'bag' was not forthcoming coming after paying the city tax etc, I literally had to ask! I use hotels.com often and stay in Italy, often. I am used to a less than warm reception (which isn’t right) but this place was empty and the attitude was terrible. I won't be staying here again. "

"Room was clean , a little small, but we had a balcony which was nice. We could see the sea from balcony and you could hear the sound of the surf. The staff was very friendly and helpful."

"Fantastic place! Very clean, front desk staff great and helpful, and room wonderful- smallish but sufficient. Best aspect of hotel was location-frequent city bus to and from train station came down main road (via Grande) with stop near hotel."

"TThis property was not the greatest experience. I feel that they definitely treated us differently being American and we’re a little bit snobby and rude towards us. We got there at 8 o’clock and of course not expecting an early check-in. I wanted to check and see if they had an opportunity for us to come in early. They did not allow us to check in until 3 PM but they did in fact check in more than 10 people while we sat there and waited. They explained that they did not have a room available in my room type which being in the hotel industry I could completely understand, but they didn’t even offer us an opportunity to have a different room type to check in sooner. By the time we got into the room it was definitely dirty. There was a bug smashed on the wall with blood, the sheets had hair on them. The bathroom counter had hair on it. The sheets were dirty and it smelled so strong of cleaning supplies that I instantly got a headache. Right after getting into the room, we definitely went and checked right back out and asked for a refund which they did not want to offer. I did end up speaking to the general manager who said we would be able to get the refund and he contacted the third-party to ask them to refund me yet. Expedia is supposedly still working on the case. This hotel is not near anything and there’s nothing to do in the area. The one good thing was the restaurant by the beach. The food was phenomenal. Still waiting to hear back about my approved refund. "
