"Good stay at Port Blair"

"Overall, the stay was good and the hotel is a nice place to stay. We tried both the veg and non-veg lunch thali at ITC, and both were very good. However, there were a couple of disappointing aspects. During checkout, no staff came to assist us with the luggage even after we waited for around 10 minutes, so we had to manage it ourselves. The morning breakfast buffet was also quite disappointing. Most of the food seemed to have been prepared or kept out for some time, and almost everything we...

"Decent hotel location, very good service. But room window didn’t open"

"The rooms was big enough, comfortable and everything was clean. The owner was very nice and helped us with everything we need. "

"Mine booking was cancelled by hotel a prior day to checkin. I was not informed or asked before cancellation and at 2 am in morning when I was deep sleeping, I received call from hotel.com and told that my booking is cancelled. Hence 1st worst was the cancellation of booking by hotel at last moment and 2nd is the customer care of Expedia or hotel.com who waste your time by pulling you in long calls and ultimately with no resolution. We were shown to our room when this was sorted , it smelled dirty and damp and had blood on the pillows, the cleaner insisted it was fine-and it was only nail polish!! They told us there was nothing else available, but when we insisted they changed room-not much better but it had a patio door to open and air out...

"Not good, bad"

"Avoid Sakthi Holidays Inn if you are a foreigner I had a frustrating experience with Sakthi Holidays Inn and Expedia.at that every non-Indian traveler should be aware of. I booked and prepaid a Deluxe Room at Sakthi Holidays Inn via Expedia.de. Upon arrival, the hotel denied our stay, claiming they had no record of our reservation, despite me showing them confirmation of booking and invoice. Turns out, Sakthi Holidays Inn had lost its license to accommodate foreign guests due to immigration...

"Room as okay and decent size but AC, hot water and TV not working, they admit they cut the cable service to save money. No amenities, lift not working, no staff at counter. They promised breakfast but staff woke up late and we had to get packed breakfast in a haste."
