"Die Wohnung bietet genügend Platz und eine tolle Aussicht auf den Comer See. Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Badezimmer war angenehm groß und gut ausgestattet. Leider war das angekündigte Wlan-Netzwerk nicht zu erreichen, was auch nach mehrfacher Nachfrage an den Vermieter über die gesamten 10 Tage unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben wurde."

"Directions to the unit were clear, we found the property easily. The 3 km road leading to it from the main road is incredibly narrow most of the time but even with traffic it is doable. We had everything we needed for our stay, kitchen items, washer, dishwasher. Our host even provided a welcome gift of pasta and tomato sauce and a bottle of wine. Wifi was good. Communication with the host was excellent. I can highly recommend this place to anyone."

"The appartment is very spacy, clean, well equipped and also very cosy. Due to the wooden blinds and the stone floor the appart was still cool while outside temperatures of 32 degrees and hence very suitable for dogs. The garden is also very large and has a magnificent view on the lake and mountains."

"Appartment ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Küche vollständig. Sinnvoll ist eine Belegung bis 4, weil Schlafsofa unbequem und faktisch das ganze Hauptzimmer einnehmend. Tiefgarage und Zufahrt zu Germasino sehr eng, aber auch mit Audi A6 machbar. Mit Übung ist braucht man mit dem Auto weniger als 10min bis nach Dongo / Gravedonna ans Seeufer bzw. zu einem Supermarkt. Pool ist sehr schön. Terrasse großzügig mit einem schönen Blick auf den See."

Just instantly puts you in a good mood waking up to the breathtaking views...the pictures on the listing are accurate. The beds were so comfortable (even better than ours at home which is unusual from a holiday let) and the contact and help from the owner was perfect. Gave us our privacy but responded to queries quickly. The surrounding area is...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Fontanera. Very good communication with the host throughout the whole stay and beyond (as we forgot shoes). The house is perfectly suited for larger groups with individual bathrooms for each room. The views and garden including pool are great. Located on the hill you can choose to either walk to Gravedona (approx. 30 mins), take a bus or the car. We would definitley recommend it."

"Roberta, never met her. One young boy called Stefano gave us the key.Spoke limited English, even though the advert claimed that several languages were spoken. The owners lived upstairs but never spoke to us. The phone number given, we got no reply. TV worked intermittently, only German channel. Very modern but minimal equipment for cooking etc. Wifi very limited. No washing machine or washing line. No microwave. Dishwasher was difficult to operate. Panel separating us from the appartment next...

"Our five days at the apartment was supposed to be rainy but ended up being warm and sunny every day. We loved being able to use the pool and the room was spacious and newly remodeled. The hosts were very accommodating and I enjoyed conversing with them. They provided me with tips on the area too. There was a nice bakery and a cortina restaurant a few minutes walk away. The pretty garden that surrounded the house was an extra bonus."

"We had a lovely stay at this apartment. It was clean, bright and spacious with a wonderful view. The pool and barbeque area was lovely. Host Charlotte was very helpful and friendly. We could walk to the lake and the centre of Locarno. We would highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). The architecture and decor of the apartment was well thought out and probably the highlight for us. The only negative part of our stay was the bugs...

"We loved our stay! The house suited our needs for our 2 night stay in Lake Como and we loved the proximity to a lovely hike over the peninsula and away from the "touristy" spots of Lake Como. A couple notes... the pool view is not the view from the house and there is actually a house in most of the view of the house with only a side view of the lake out of the main window so that was a disappointment and honestly a bit deceiving based on the pictures. There were no toiletries (soap/shampoo)...
