"The breakfast was advertised as continental but presented as a full breakfast bar with delicious eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes with trimmings and many other items. We were surprised that they actually charged us up front the security deposit saying it would be refunded in 3-10 business days. The hotel was not full and yet they placed people in rooms around us enough that we heard tv until 1am, water running, footsteps, conversation and even someone's cough. That made it hard to sleep even with ear plugs. The pool is nice, hot tub indeed hot, the beds comfortable. The lady who runs the breakfast bar was especially nice as well as the young lady working the desk in the am. The desk clerk at check in at 9pm was grumpy. The artwork, some created by the staff makes it homey."

"The room was really nice, the bed were comfy, easy parking. Great location and access to everything downtown. The breakfast was very minimal but they provided snacks and coffee throughout the day. Overall an amazing place and would stay again."

"Beautiful, very very clean condo. All the kitchen essentials. A quick walk to the beach and a playground for the kids. Good communication overall. My only note is that the listing didn’t inform us that the laundry is not in-unit and it costs. It’s downstairs, shared with 4 units, and the washer/dryer are coin operated. I wish this would’ve been made clear. "

"We rented this house and arrived after driving for 9 hours to find it had been condemned. We were in contact with the owner on our way there who didn’t bother to tell us it had been condemned the week before. We called him when we got there and he didn’t answer the call forcing us to contact VRBO to get a refund. He left our family of 8 scrambling to find another place to stay for our 8 day vacation costing us an additional 500 out of pocket not to mention the hassle and stress. I do not recommend anyone book this property. The owner should be ashamed of himself. "

"Spectacular RentalWe had a family reunion with adults from all over the country meet in Grand Haven. This rental house is nothing short of spectacular. The design choices are exquisite with so many details in every room (even the guys noticed!) The kitchen was extremely well equipped. We did a lot of cooking while on site and nothing was missing. We also thought that the bedrooms and beds were all comfortable enough and I found the twin beds in the basement to be the softest which agrees with my back. There were enough bathrooms for nine adults to comfortably shower as needed. The location to the beach is perfect with a short walk down some steep steps. They have every beach toy you could imagine including easy to carry chairs which we took down to the beach one day. As mentioned in the description, the parking is a bit of a challenge but worth it. The house is situated in a neighborhood called Highland Park Association which was very quaint with many beautiful lake houses all nestled into a very small area. We were able to unload our car including coolers and food without much difficulty. It would be difficult to find this spot in the dark. The video that they provide from the parking lot to the house is very helpful. We felt very safe and secure with the automatic door lock feature and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We sat out on the deck for all of our meals and we were able to make s'mores one night at the propane fire pit. Just a perfect getaway."

"Close to the beach, a lot of stairs (like 70) to get up to the property, there is a tram for part of the way but definitely not for seniors who need accessibility. Pretty surroundings."
