Gem of a hotel. Room was large and well designed with a quiet back garden. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. If NOTK is taking over the kitchen for the evening when you are there do not hesitate to book a dinner with them. Truly excellent wine and food. Would stay here (and eat at NOTK) every time I visit Rotterdam.

Staff was very friendly and very accommodating! Nice personal touches with the personalized welcome note in our room and record player with music. Would have rated this higher except there was loud music nearby on several nights which interrupted our sleep.

Lovely boutique hotel with stylish rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile. No mirror/socket combo for drying hair but managed.

Don't be surprised if you discover that this NOVA property is actually an old traditional building... Renovated Okay, but not novel or modern. Beware of the stairs and elevator!

Overall, great stay!

The hotel is a stylish boutique. It was easy to find and located on a quiet street. It is nearby public transit and a short walk to terrific restaurants. Check-in was fast and friendly. The room was clean and had nice amenities. The biggest issue occured on a Sunday afternoon. Despite extending the stay and reconfirming with front desk that we did not want to be disturbed to sleep in, there were several knocks on the door from staff. When I opened the door, the attitude of the front desk staff was icy, "Did you know check-out is at noon?" And I said, "Yes, and we extended our stay." She responded with a scowl, "When?" And I said Friday (also I had sent a message to the hotel a month prior). I could not fall back asleep after a very tiring day and was upset at the unpleasant and unprofessional exchange and poor attitude of this woman. Would I recommend the stay? Perhaps. I'm undecided whether I would want to return next year.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and shower was big. We appreciated the small fridge and the cold jug of water. It was easy to walk to all the sights we wanted to see, and there were several restaurants nearby to eat at.

Property was very clean and modern but with a boutique feel. The staff were so helpful. Bar area was nice. We didn't have breakfast but it looked acceptable but nothing special. The room was clean and very comfortable with a very sweet balcony. The only downside was the AC was very bad and it was 28 degrees when there so the room was very hot to sleep at night. The bikes were very useful and we used them for 3 days to get around. I would recommend and stay here again

Be aware before booking

Beautiful design hotel, but function of the room is not good. Our room had steep stairs from bed to bathroom, and not full high for persons over 170 cm in the area around the bed. We were “offered” to pay for an upgrade to a different room, but same challenge, ceiling too low, you will be crawling into your bed. Before booking, pay attention to the pictures of the rooms and assess yourself cause this is not described on hotels.com

Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni in questa struttura. La camera era pulita e molto ampia per 3 persone, arredata con gusto e dotata di tutto il necessario per un soggiorno confortevole. Il letto era davvero comodo. Una piacevolissima sorpresa è stato il giradischi, un dettaglio originale che ha reso l’atmosfera ancora più accogliente. Anche il bagno era spazioso e moderno, con una doccia comoda e funzionale. Lo consiglio!

The sophisticated bunk bed design is really unique, our kids loved it. Beds were also big and extremely comfy. The bathroom is stylish but not really practical as the floor tiles get pretty slippery when wet. Room was spacious and everyone had space to hang out. Patio was beautiful but not well maintained. Deck chairs were dirty and covered with grime. It is okay for us as we did not hang out there due to the hot summer weather. Staff were friendly, sincere and warm. It was a nice touch to be welcomed by record music playing in the room, as well as a handwritten note.
