Quietness and solitude

I loved it! No reception, no service during the stay, but a very warm welcome from Herve at the beginning, orienting me to the setup. Clean and quiet - and the latter is pretty miraculous for Rouen on a Saturday night! Room was pretty and looked out on a courtyard; I didn't see anyone else. Highly recommended if you like your alone-time as a traveller! "Les Carmes" reflects that there was a Carmelite nunnery in the area - and there was a lovely feeling of being on retreat.

Ok but.....

Central and good communication with the landlord. but if you are a light sleeper it's not the right place for you. Noises from the creeky main door, to the people at the bar close by and rubbish pick up early in the morning. No extra pillows available.

Chambre très agréable, lumineuse, très bien située

Chambre très sympa, spacieuse et très bien située dans le centre de Rouen. On peut s'y rendre facilement à pied depuis la gare. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et disponible ce qui a facilité notre séjour. Prêts à retourner lors d'un prochain séjour...

Studio central mais la chambre donnant sur la place est mal insonorisée (certes c'est ld crntre ville mais on peut s'en donner les moyens techniques.... Confort tres correct y comptis salle d'eau... plomberie par contre bruyante... donc proscrite de nuit... Immeuble ancien tres correcte mais sans cachet particulier...

Un endroit très cosy avec jolie vue

C’était parfait !! seul tout petit bémol : le pas des voisins à l’étage au-dessus… mais très peu gênant ! Le lit était très confortable et le canapé aussi.

Chambre agréable et confortable. Très bon accueil du gérant. Bonne literie. Niveau propreté quelques améliorations à prévoir mais rien d alarmant. Point vraiment appréciable, en plein coeur de Rouen Rive droite, commerces au pied de l immeuble.

Idéal pour une escapade.

Appartement très bien situé en centre ville avec parking public à 15€ les 24h à 50 mètres. Bonne literie, salle d'eau convenable. Hôte accueillant et disponible au besoin. Manque juste un frigo et la climatisation pour que ce soit parfait.

Très bon emplacement de l'hôtel, propriétaire à appeler pour que l'on vienne ouvrir, mais pas de service: pas de ménage lors du séjour, 1 mini tube de gel douche pour 3 jours, 1 rouleau pour 3 jours, machine à café et bouilloire non fonctionnelles et avec que 1 jour de café. Cet hôtel à beaucoup d'atouts géographique et sur la chambre, mais à oublier son service, et donc sa satisfaction client.

First nights in France

We arrived in Rouen after more than 24 hours if travel. Once we found the hotel (not well marked) we called to alert of our arrival. We had to wait for about 10 min for someone to arrive and check us in. When he did arrive, we were warmly welcomed and oriented to our room. The Queen bed was comfortable and the recently remodeled bathroom had great shower. The room was quiet with black out curtains- perfect for our "catch up" sleep. The entry is dark and needs remodeled but there's no reason to linger there. Location was great. Within walking distance if many shops, restaurants and sights. Room was clean, quiet and everything we needed for our first two days/nights.

great location in the heart of the old Rouen ... walking distance to everything and nice apartment in pristine condition with a good enough standing to be very comfortable

Séjour d'affaire qui s'est bien passé. Accueil chaleureux. Un bémol sur la propreté du canapé qui présente pas mal de taches... Sinon, très bien situé en plein coeur de Rouen sur la Place des Carmes au top. Pensez si possible à changer les piles de la télécommande, je pense que c'est là d'ou vient le soucis avec la télé.
