This real cocoon of 29m² located on the ground floor (DRC) of a brick building, will surprise you with its brightness and volumes. At the heart of the living district of the Croix de Pierre, you will find nearby all transport (bus, metro) and shops nearby. Enjoy the excitement of the market in Saint Mark's Square to discover the good products of Normandy.

Renovated recently with a contemporary and neat decoration, the apartment "La Rose" is perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay as for a couple, a traveler for business or a family of 4 people.

The apartment opens onto a cozy and cozy living room with a sofa bed. You will find a functional kitchen (induction hob, oven, washing machine ...) and spacious to prepare good Norman dishes or to sip a coffee before going to the assault of our pretty city. The bathroom includes the necessary (towels, hair dryer, pharmacy kit) to prepare. A double bed is waiting for you in the room whose comfortable bedding will ensure you an optimal rest.

Quiet place as The Rose in Rouen
The property manager Philippe responded to all requests immediately by VRBO email. We were comfy, and the place is super quiet. It is 10 minutes from bus or tram, but there are several markets and restaurants near. The Rose is a good value for the cost.

If you value making local connections, understanding a community from a local perspective, seeing Rouen from its non-touristy centre, then this is the place for you. Surroundings are perfectly comfortable, too!

The Rose
Phillipe is a great propriétaire. The apartment was described perfectly so there were no surprises. The street is generally quiet and the neighbors respectful. Everything needed to run a small household (for three months, in my case) is available. I’d give the Rose my highest reccomendation.

If you like the listing, you’ll like the apartment. An excellent choice.
Perfect accommodations for 1-2 people, 3 for a few days. Everything works. It’s clean and very comfortable. A 20 minute walk from just about everything but groceries, pharmacy, tabac, and fast food choices are all very close. Pretend you’re French for awhile and stay in La Rose because that’s what it feels like.

Absolutely Wonderful!
The address was easy to find. Philippe met us and was wonderful explaining the apartment as well as making suggestions and supplying a guidebook to explore Rouen. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with all we needed to cook including spices, coffee & tea, pots, tableware, oven, stove, clothes washer. It was quiet and had a great Wi-Fi connection. Even had Netflix! It was easy walking to the old city center, restaurants and stores. We highly recommend Philippe and his place. When we return we WILL stay here!

Séjour d’agrément de 4 jours du 22 au 26 août 2024
Nous avons globalement passé un bon séjour et nous n’étions pas présents dans l’appartement la journée. Cela dit il y a eu de forts relents d’humidité dans l’appartement suite aux pluies des 23 et 24 août. L’absence de ventilation mécanique dans la salle de bains a généré beaucoup de condensation (les fenêtres ruisselaient littéralement). Comme nous sommes d’asthmatiques ça a rendu nos nuits un peu compliquées. Nous avons signalé au gérant que la porte de la douche ne se ferme pas très bien. La cuisine n’est pas trop mal équipée même si un peu plus de casseroles aurait été un plus car nous aimons beaucoup cuisiner. Les denrées d’accueil ont été appréciées. A notre arrivée une intervention de plomberie nous a été annoncée, suite à un souci surve u lors de la location précédente, qui a été exécutée comme prévue. Par contre le plombier n’a pas eu l’élémentaire coutoisie de rincer l’évier ni même de vider le sceau qui lui a servi a recueillir l’eau sale, ce que nous avons trouvé assez malvenu. Néanmoins le gérant s’est montré d’une grande disponibilité et d’une gentillesse exemplaire ce que nous tenons à signaler et dont nous le remercions vivement. Une dernière précision : il serait utile d’expliciter le fonctionnement du sèche-serviettes que nous n’avons pas réussi à faire fonctionner. Le système de boîte à clé est une très bonne installation qui a facilité l’intervention du plombier. Dans l’ensemble ce futun séjour agréable. es fenêtres ruisselaient littéralement)

Appartement très humide avec une odeur très désagréable d'humidité jusqu'au draps de lit et couette, si bien que le séjour à du être écourté d'1 nuit, parti dimanche matin après 2 nuits d'insomnie à cause des mauvaises odeurs, endroit peu recommandable,

L’appartement est plein d’humidité ça se sent partout ( coussins, canapé, matelas, couettes, mur etc et surtout l’air ) ce se sent fort à l’instant où vous entrez dans l’appartement. il a mit un déshumidificateur juste pour taire les vacanciers qui se plainte de l’odeur mais ça ne fait RIEN! Le pire c’est que moi je suis allergique et ceci n’a pas été indiqué dans l’annonce, du coup je suis tombé malade de suite et j’ai rentré chez moi le lendemain, mes vacances sont gâchées et l’hôte m’as dit qu’il va me rembourser les jours non passés dans l’appart mais la somme que j’ai reçu ne correspond même pas à la moitié du séjour! D’habitude j’évite de laisser des commentaires négatifs mais là je le laisse pour les futurs personnes allergiques qui peuvent tomber dans le même cas ou ceux qui viennent avec leurs enfants. Je déconseille fortement!

Rouen, 42 Rue de la Rose
Rouen ist eine Reise wert! Viele Museen waren gratis. Besonders während Fête de la Musique (21. Juni) gibt es viele Eindrücke. Da raten wir, die Musik aus Boxen zu begrenzen, damit Lifemusik gehört werden kann. Die Waschmaschine im Appartement ist nur sinnvoll, wenn informiert wird, wo man Wäsche trocknen darf. Ergänzung Geschirr und kleine Reparaturen wären schön. Vielen Dank an Philipp Langlois.

Logement bien situé. En revanche les finitions de ce logement font qu il vieilli très mal. De plus aucun ménage fait avant notre arrivée. 25 euros facturé ! Crasse, calcaire, substances collantes dans le réfrigérateur, freezer rempli de givre. La fenêtre de la chambre n est plus étanche un montant se décolle nous avons bloqué le rideau pour éviter sue le froid rentre. Le dessus de plat et la banette à fruits sont moisis. La cafetière avait encore des traces non lavées. Nous avons ouvert une boîte à thé et une mite alimentaire s est envolée. Le fond du lavabo était jaune et autre.. photos à l appui bien sûr envoyées au propriétaire. Une procédure de remboursement après l amour contacté est en cours mais que partielle. Nous avons du temps à notre arrivée et de la qualité de vie aussi : toux, éternuements

rouen centre ville
Séjour agréable et parfait au centre ville de Rouen dans rue calme et tranquille, tout proche du centre et aussi de toutes le commodités. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux et les indications fournies . 2 jours sans utiliser la voiture, celle-ci étant garée à 400 metres sur un emplacement non payant. L'appartement est tout neuf, tout ce qu'il faut pour un coiuple.
