"Notre hôte nous a accueillies avec sourire et bonne humeur. Elle nous a montré les emplacements (dôme, cuisine, piscine …) et expliqué les fonctionnements. Ma petite fille et moi avons passé quelques jours très agréables. J’ai beaucoup apprécié le calme de l’endroit, la discrétion, la gentillesse et la disponibilité de Sarah."

"Perfect location for enjoying this beautiful place. No need for television or screens of any kind. The show is all around. Parking is only possible downside but I came to walk, so pas de problème! Amazing trails all around. A bit challenging at times but so beautiful, an ache or two can be addressed with fab shower and a glass of wine just out your door. Don't miss Font de Gaume Grotte- should have gone to more. Rouffignac supposed to be special as well. Monsieur Frederic Rousseau is thorough...

"My friends and I had rented a larger place through VRBO in January and were dumfounded to find ourselves in the midst of what appeared to be a scam run by a fellow claiming it was "a boo boo" and the rental property was unavailable, although his own B&B in town could accommodate us. Christine replied swiftly to my inquiry about renting this place and, after a night in a hotel, we settled happily into her lovely apartment. "We had a wonderful stay despite the weather being mixed. The spa was a lovely treat when sitting by the pool wasn’t appealing - although make sure you book your hour as it fills up quickly. We had a lovely evening in the bar with music and tapas - it was meant to be in the rose garden but equally lovely. Unfortunately didn’t manage to have proper dinner as didn’t book in time - the restaurant is only small. Breakfasts were a highlight already though! We had a lovely family room which was a great size for a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. Plus a lovely large terrace. My only complaint would be for a family of 4 , giving us 2 double beds wasn’t practical. The sofa bed was too small for 2 teenagers of different sex! Or even a teenager + parent. We ended up requesting an additional camp bed which I don’t think we should have had to pay for. Overall a lovely stay though and we will definitely be back!"
"On my first evening there to check in, I was given an entry code with instructions on how to self check in. The steps provided were exactly as explained to me on the phone. I would have prefered if someone were there to greet me but at least I had access. At the hotel I stayed at before Naad Hotel, was in Arles and the front desk personnel over there kindly allowed me to use his phone to reach Hotel Naad. He knew that I was in a quandry, and helped me. When I entered my room, it was a bit cramped and the dark colors of the room did not help. The interior lights had awkward placing so that was not that convenient. The bedside light fixtures reminded me of extendable desk lamps that engineers use. The town of Sarlat la Caneda itself is very charming and lovely, so that helped."
"This is beautiful and quirky hotel in an old part of the town centre of Souillac. Owners appeared to be welcoming and charismatic. Lady owner communicates in English if struggling to speak in French.
Rooms presented to be very nice and clean, while beds very comfortable. Bathroom appeared to be clean but would benefit from a little renovation. There is shower in the bathtub but no rail to attach it, which was a little bit inconvenient.
There is cafe and dinning room downstairs, which seems to attract a lot of locals. Breakfast is served in the dinning room, though I would personally rather have something to eat elsewhere. Hygiene standards in the dinning room are not what I am used to, and are somehow low."
"La situation de l'hôtel est un atout certain ainsi que ses nombreuses aménités. Nous avons en effet été témoins de certains problèmes rapportés dans d'autres commentaires comme la prise qui se détache. La chambre était petite, mais propre et les lits confortables. La dame au comptoir était charmante et vraiment aidante. Le sentiment est celui d'un village vacances qui souffre d'un certain vieillissement, mais notre expérience a été très bonne. Le séjour s'est très bien passé, mission accomplie."
Rental Residence with 2 swimming pools, jacuzzi, sauna, billiards
10/10 Excellent
"Een heerlijk huis met een mooie spa en 2 zwembaden waarvan 1 zout en overdekt. Huis is sober en smaakvol ingericht. Voldoende spullen. Veel leuke restaurantjes in de omgeving. Wel allemaal - en dat is enige nadeel van huis - op minimaal 15 minuten met de auto. Dat geldt ook voor bakker en andere boodschappen. De ligging biedt ook rust; ook veel waard! Eigenaar reageert prettig snel op vragen."
"Had a beautiful dinner on the terrace with a view to remember! Arrived quite late, 20:45 and the hotel staff advised us to go straight to dinner before kitchen closed. Restaurant welcomed us despite hour. Fish was stellar."
"I arrived on Thursday, June 18th (4ish pm)
After a long walk from the train station (apparently public transportation is very scarce in Rocamadour) to the hotel, the receptionist was very kind and welcoming. We stumbled through our language barrier (she was very patient with me) and I was checked in and on my way. Before I went to my room, I asked if she would schedule a taxi for me back to the train station on by departure day. She was very accomodating. Better yet, the taxi showed up. It's a great hotel, very clean and spacious room. The bathroom was large compared to those in Europe. No air conditioning, which I knew booking, but a fan is provided and keeps the room comfortable. The hotel is a two minute walk to the Sanctuary.
If you are taking the train to Rocamadour....do yourself a huge favor and pre-book transportation to town. You'll thank yourself!!"
