"The villa was exactly as described, there was amble room for everyone. The villa was very comfortable. The surrounding area was very quiet with a cycle/walking path a few minutes away. It was only a 5 min drive into Parthenary town and the same distance for a supermarket. We did have an issue with the drainage, but I sent a text and a telephone call from the owner had a plumber sent out the next day who resolved the problem. Thank you Google translator. We had a lovely break, but it was a shame...

"This is such a beautiful home. It is located in a quiet area close to the center of Poitiers. The house is very large, so there was plenty of room for us to spread out. Phillipe is such a wonderful host. He was so incredibly kind and generous with his time. He drove all the way from Paris to meet us. We arrived early, so he had a friend meet us at the house to make sure we were able to get in. We had so much fun getting to know Phillipe. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely...

"pas de contact physique avec la proprietaire maison sale ,télé ne fonctionne pas ,-beaucoup de fuites d eau(wc-salle de bain vasques-) pas d eau chaude pendant -1 mois et demi -bouteille de gaz vide-que j ai du remplacer a ma charge malgré les relances avec la proprietaire aucune action elle nous méme en bateau et promet beaucoup de choses mais rien hélas rien les prises de courants sont décollées -beaucoup de jouets pour enfants qui encombres les chambres la clé se trouve dans le pot de fleur...

"We fell in love with this old Priory as soon as we arrived. It was extremely peaceful. The grounds were extensive with the river running through the grounds. We particularly liked the little chapel & hope that if we return this will have been restored. Our gite was very clean & comfortable. Gilles was a good helpful host. We will go back."

"A nice spacious well equipped property with a pleasantly heated pool. Essentially it's located in the countryside away from any towns or major tourist spots - so factor in any extra driving. Surprisingly it was a semi-detached property but we didnt really hear much from the human neighbours, the cows on the farm across the road made more noise!"

"The photos do not do this property justice. Never stayed in a French village before so a bit reticent however what a lovely place. Secure, private, yet open and spacious. Inside the main property the open living area works very well and the smaller gite was an added bonus especially due to the added kitchen space and utilities on offer. The pool was fantastic such a great addition which we used almost every day despite the average weather. I would say for the money this is a gem and the passion...
