Outside mosquitoes are prevalent but there is screen in porch. It was quiet and we slept well for our 1 night stay."

"Met our needs for location. Could use more kitchen supplies example strainer for noodles as this is an easy meal to prepare. The back room would not warm up with door shut and shaking and rumbling all night long from heater hooked on hitch of house. Very hard sleeping but not sure in summer if this would be the same with air. Overall could lower price for late fall as there were vacancy all over mackinaw city for next time!!"

"We had a great trip, the cabin was cozy, clean and beautiful. The host very responsive and thorough. We took advantage of the local shops, hiking trails and ventured to Tahquamenon Falls along with Whitefish Bay. All in all, we were very pleased and look forward to coming back. Highly recommend."

Second, we were basically told "good luck" about using the oven, which would have been nice to know before we bought groceries. Third, the heat had already been turned off for the season and it was COLD at night. Thankfully some of the beds had heaters, which was great. The fireplace downstairs is just for looks/ambience.
