The beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Good location. Quiet. It could use an ice machine and coffee in the room and the sink vanity needs room. Maybe put a table next to sink so you can sit your makeup bag on it. Vending machine would be nice.

The rooms were extremely spacious, beds were comfy, very clean and the hosts were fabulous. We loved going to the coffee shop for breakfast and the location is beyond excellent. It’s a great find and price for the Round Top and antique show experience.

Beautiful and peaceful. Very clean and the scenery was serene. Getting into the room was easy and the room itself was so cute. My favorite was the sitting area outside with the biggest beautiful tree.

Cute and Cozy

The room is well acquainted and comfortable. The only recommendations I would have are thicker bath towels, and a higher grade of shampoo/conditioner sulfate and paraben free products. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

Lovely clean large room! Two issues were the bed was so high! It came to my waist & I’m 5’6”! Difficult to climb on and the air conditioner stopped every night. I woke up from the room getting hot.

Bathroom door doesn’t close, Bed is very high up and struggled to get into, I was a little sad about the burn ban especially since it is December and its cold outside. Online it states there is free breakfast/room service but that isn’t true if the office is closed throughout most the day. The coffee in the room was good and we had a sense of security, so that’s good I suppose, just not worth the amount.

During cold weather, would not recommend. Mini split heater could not keep the room warm. Cold air could be felt coming through the doors. We brought extra bedding fortunately but we’re still uncomfortably cold. Unsure whether mini split would also be an issue in the summer on very hot days. Clean motel room close to the center of Round Top

To be clear, there are not many choices in Round Top. This is more like an upscale, contemporary motel than a hotel. It was a very comfortable room, on the main highway through town. Check-in was seamless. Door opens to the outside. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Thankfully, the room was quiet, even though we could hear the music from the dancehall in town when we stepped outside. The coupons for a free coffee and breakfast item downtown were greatly appreciated (the breakfast place was excellent). But otherwise, no real amenities other than the basics, a coffee maker, and a small fridge. There was something about not cleaning rooms during a stay, but we were only there for one night. For us, we wanted someplace safe and close to where we had obligations. This was that...

Stayed in room #1. It was a nice sized room. Plenty of room for 3 people. A/C worked good. And the shower was nice too. Hot water was awesome. The king bed was awesome! I slept great! I would suggest providing more towels. There was 1 towel per person for 2 days. No offer to bring clean towels for the 2nd night. Breakfast is suppose to be included. We received coupons for breakfast each morning at the local coffee shop! It was awesome! Breakfast tacos and choice of coffee, tea, etc. However, the 2nd morning, we went for breakfast they were closed. So, that was kind of crappy. If they are going to be closed, the hotel should bring muffins or something else to replace what we’re supposed to be getting. Overall, it was a good experience and I would stay here again.
