"We had a great time. It is perfect for a quiet escape & it is close to enough to Main Street, if you desire to go. The covered deck & fireplace was our spot we never left."

Blue Laurel is nestled in the peaceful little town of Mountain Rest, SC .
10/10 Excellent
"Quaint, serene, clean cabin with a great hostess and easy parking. Bed is very comfortable. Towels are plush. Kitchen is well-stocked. Hostess provided a lot of extras. Perfect getaway for a couple and their fur babies. A/C unit was upstairs and may annoy some light sleepers cutting on and off. Bedroom and bath are upstairs, as well, which may be cumbersome to some who are mobility-challenged. Pups enjoyed walking in the creek. Very steep incline to climb down (and back up) to get to it. Overall, a wonderful place. Would highly recommend and will definitely plan a return visit."
Unplugged Retreat, covered porch, BBQ, firepit
10/10 Excellent
"The home and location were lovely. The home was spacious, the kitchen and shower remodel were really well done, and the peace and quiet were exceptional. The home is in Horse Cove, a quiet, out of the way part of the Highlands plateau area that sits in the shadow of Blackrock Mountain, part of the Whiteside Mountian escarpment. The home is close to Highlands and Cashiers but away from the hustle and bustle. The best part is you can turn out of the driveway and get to some of the most beautiful, peaceful trails and waterfalls in the area within 5-20 minutes. With no WiFi, a weak phone signal, it’s a wonderful place to disconnect, calm the noise of the world, and recover yourself."
Highlands View Lodge: Mountain Retreat w/ 2 Porches, Hot Tub & Firepit
10/10 Excellent
"Love the house , enjoyed the hot tub . you are on the side of the mountain surrounded by trees. If you walk outside around the side of the house, you can see a Mountain View, but from the house the tree is blocked it. I would come stay at this house again. We really enjoyed it."
Mill Place Cabin Getaway
10/10 Excellent
"The property was clean and comfortable. The porch with rocking chairs and the swing was a great place to unwind while listening to the sounds of the creek."
Spectacular pet friendly remote cabin in Cashiers, NC. AWD/4WD needed.
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I spent a month at this property with our newborn while visiting family. This property was exceptionally well cared for, clean, organized and well appointed. We specifically enjoyed exploring the trail network behind the cabin and dinners on the expansive deck. The host provided clear instructions and periodically checked in during our stay. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!"
Four Seasons Private Suite on Chestnut Ridge in Highlands - Private Club Access
10/10 Excellent
"We had a great trip! The little suite was so clean and cozy! We couldn’t figure out how to turn on the AC, so we were very hot during the night. Other than that, everything was fabulous! Also, thank you for the yummiest pumpkin bread!"
