"My adult son and I were long overdue for a mother/son getaway, so we chose this tranquil little spot right on Lake Champlain. It was perfect for a weekend of relaxation and reconnecting. We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen, sitting by the fire, and conversing and laughing on the shore of the lake while watching the sunset. Even my 25-year-old adrenaline-junkie boy said he was able to relax."

"Several items listed as amenities were not present... no hot tub, no kayaks, dock was useless as seaweed was excessive. Waterfront was slimy and rocky, certainly not conducive to swimming with kids. No window curtains on a few of the bedrooms. No vacuum available to keep tidy, only a porch broom. Host popped in a few times unannounced and quite honestly unexpected. (Breakfast time day 1, and dinner time day 2) maybe he was doing a people count as he asked repeatedly how many were here and told repeatedly the same #on the reservation. Most uncomfortable stay in over the 7 years we have used VRBO."
