"This place is an absolute gem. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and the bed was huge and really comfortable. There were plenty of teas and coffees and some nice biscuits provided and a bottle of water, the bathroom had hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in, the food both at dinner and breakfast was fresh, hot and delicious, the parking was in a locked garage round the back, we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you to all there 💕"

"From the moment we entered Friendliness was the Name of the Game! Tasha showed us to our room and told us everything we needed to know. The room was nice, large, well renovated, bed was very comfortable. We went to eat in the dining room for our evening meal which was delicious. I had the Hanger Steak which was cooked to perfection, my husband had fish and chips which was great too. Breakfast was included and what a choice we had. "This was truly an “Pub with and Inn” experience. The Cat in the Custard is the hub of this small Cotswold village, so we felt like travelers in time. Our room was in the eaves and very tiny so we moved to a larger one - both were lovely. The food is very good, and the breakfast hot and plentiful. "
