Private Lakefront Log Cabin

"We loved the rustic feel of the cabin combined with the comforts of nice bathrooms and a full kitchen. The cabin is really cute inside. Good to note: From the map location in the listing it looks like it's really far from the lake - we almost clicked past it for this reason, but luckily we read more closely and looked at some of the guest pictures and saw it's close to the water. The wifi didn't work (and we have a few technically skilled people with us who tried to fix it for a couple hours), but there was enough phone service to do what we needed to do. Maybe also good to note that campfires are not allowed, and there is a gas grill available. We made s'mores on our camp stove :) We would come back!"

"One of our best VRBO experiences. Came highly recommended from a good friend, and lived up to the recommendation in all respects. We travel to the area for family functions and this will be where we will stay in the future, if it’s not already booked. This is a very nice property and fits our needs perfectly. Everything is modern/ up to date, and clean. Great view of the lake, quiet and peaceful."

"The location and cabin itself was awesome. It was very conducive for family events, especially with the separate game room downstairs. The landlords were very responsive and quick when we reached out for anything. The main thing that impacted our stay was the cleanliness. It looked like it did not have a thorough cleaning in awhile. The showers, toilets, and sinks needed a thorough cleaning with mold on the shower curtains. They did replace them immediately upon request. The floors in the kitchen had crumbs throughout the floor, including the kitchen table. The refrigerator needed a thorough cleaning as well. We spent a few hours upon arrival cleaning things that should have been cleaned prior to arrival."

"We had such a great stay! We absolutely loved Mayo Lake and couldn’t have asked for a better spot right on the water. The house had everything we needed and more, and there was something for everyone in our family to enjoy, no matter their age. The fishing on the lake was excellent, which was definitely a highlight of our trip! The owner was also very responsive and helpful with anything that came up during our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing lake getaway!"
