Note: if VRBO allows you to send an inquiry than the dates are available. We received many Scam inquiries i with a common question “are these dates available”. I may not respond to these inquiries. We also will not respond or accept requests to book or pay outside of VRBO. Third party bookings are not accepted.
You will have the main floor and upstairs (~1500 square feet) all to yourself with views of forest and mountains. HIGH SPEED INTERNET provided by StarLink (25-150Mbit) with DSL as a backup.
The main floor has a living room, dining area, Bedroom #2, kitchen, and a bathroom. The living room has a pull out sofa, chairs and TV. The dining area has seating for 6. Galley kitchen has stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishes, pots and pans, microwave, dishwasher, Kurig Machine and general utensils.
Upstairs has a full en-suite bathroom with shower and tub, large bedroom with mountain views and queen bed. There is ample room for a crib, small workspace, or add one more sleeping area with the provided air mattress.
Unique Feature:
Travel with your horse(s)! Rural house in a very quiet neighborhood on a dirt road. You can board your horse(s) next door either in stalls or field and use the indoor riding ring. You can get lessons for you or your children.
Sugarbush Resort is a 25 minute drive. Stowe, Burlington, Waterbury, Randolph, Warren, and many other points of interest are within an hour drive.
Fear not if you are allergic to animal dander! We keep the space pet-free at all times, we are not aware of any animals in the house since it was built. No pets please!

Arrive by car (in winter, plan on snow tires and/or 4WD). Electronic combination lock passcode provided just before check-in.
Other things to note
The basement has a small apartment with it's own entrance where a quiet relative lives and is occasionally cared for by nearby relative.
Horse boarding and lessons are provided by a relative next door. Availability, fees for boarding, lessons, use of riding ring to be arranged directly with the provider, this listing only includes the space. There is no cellular service from any provider at the house, however 1-2 miles away down the road you may be able to pick up ATT, Verizon, and TMobile. WiFi calling may work for you. There is a landline phone that can be used.
The space is personally cleaned by us prior to your arrival -- we typically spend more than 4 person-hours cleaning and sanitizing the space.
We provide plenty of towels, extra blankets, pillows and other comforts. We try to keep a supply of basic cooking items available including Salt, Pepper, Oil, tea, and some basic spices. In addition we will provide a starting supply of coffee pods, tea, sugar, bottled water, juice, oatmeal packets and a small bottle of Vermont Maple Syrup so you can start your first day off right!
Area tourist guides, board games, DVD's, and streaming services are all available for your entertainment.
