"It was really hard to communicate with the property manager. I kept on messaging yet no reply. Did not receive my Bach information until on the day of booking. The house was very smelly and had cockroaches everywhere. The dishes and cutlery were dirty too. The place is beautiful and few minutes walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. Was a great trip away. Just not happy with communication and cleaning."

"Although this property is within easy access to the beach and the river we found the bedrooms lacked storage space, the outdoor furniture was very difficult to manage as it is heavy, unstable and hard to move. Being able to spend as much time as possible outside is important for a family. We used the bar b que and found only 2 burners worked. "Absolutely gorgeous little spot, and the Kanuka Cabin was really lovely, took me and my Fiancée right back down on a trip to memory lane to our childhoods. Has everything you need for a nice getaway, Far enough from town that all you hear is the Tūī and Fantails with the sound of the creek, and close enough to be at the beach in 5 minutes. Thankyou very much to Kat & Kane, you made our trip amazing! We will definitely see you again soon! :)"

"Lovely property with beautiful views. Would recommend. A couple things to note, in height of summer it is quite hot especially at night upstairs. Neighbours are very close so as long as you don’t mind , it’s a brilliant spot."
