"Nice house in a nice location. Just steps to the massive Sunday market. We enjoyed meeting owner Sylvie. We would recommend letting prospective visitors know about the narrow circular stairway up to living quarters. Some older or disabled folks (or anyone with large luggage) will find the climb a challenge. Also, bring your own toilet paper, hand soap and dish-washing soap."

"We had al lovely stay there. The swimming pool is perfect. Always heated at a nice temperature. Different spots for sitting and an astonishing terrace with an nice view. At night you can spot even some wildlife walking next to your terrace. Very special!"

"Had a great stay & Nathalie was a lovely host. The pool is fantastic and loads of room for our boys to roam outside plus the odd family game of cricket. The tennis table competitions proved to be a hit with all ages as well! Loads of space in the house and we were all very comfortable!"

We found the house very comfortable and particularly enjoyed the air con in August! The pool is beautiful and the outside area was very sociable. "We only stayed one night but property was great and could have stayed longer. House was comfy, well equipped, peaceful and with lovely views. Situated in a lovely little village by the river the house is a short drive to many notable towns and vineyards. Host was friendly and helpful."

"we had a lovely stay in this cottage, it's in a quiet location but very near a good restaurant. The host couldn't be friendlier, we had everything we needed (the drier for the laundry was a nice plus). Bergerac, Bordeaux, Perigeux etc are all in easy range, the view of the vineyards amazing. A lovely house in a superb area to spend your holiday. "

"Beautiful, stylish house. We had a wonderful stay here. Zusane was very helpful and available and the lovely Luce met us at the house and checked in a few times to make sure all is OK. Great area! Would recommend."

"We very much enjoyed our stay, taking time to visit Blaye, St Emilion and the city Bordeaux. Places we would happily visit again. We ate outside in the shade of the cherry tree each night. The well stocked DVD library meant our kids were never short of entertainment. The owner Herve gave very good advice on local amenities and places to eat. The property is in a quiet neighbourhood of the village and we enjoyed several walks to the nearby banks of the Dordogne river. We recommend this property...

"Booked and paid in JANUARY. Arrived 16:00 (check-in allegedly from 14:00). Place was locked; could not make anyone hear us. Waited 30 minutes before finding another hotel. Had also booked dinner but the sign outside said the restaurant was closed on Tuesday (the day of our stay). Contacted hotels.com to request full refund - this was apparently refused by the hotel (though hotels.com personnel said they couldn’t really communicate with hotel very well as the staff there only spoke French. Er… it’s a French hotel!!!). Eventually given £25 in award points - well under half what we had paid five months earlier! VERY unhappy with the whole situation!"
